I am an older American farang. Any perceived immaturity by young Filipino girls is refreshing and welcome. It is mostly because of their happy positive attitudes.
I've met 40 year old men & women that are incredibly immature & 23 year olds that are mature far beyond their age. For me it all depends on the person 👍
Hi @WhenTheManComesAround ! That is very true. I’ve seen younger people here in the province of the Philippines who are mature and very responsible too.
Depends on the girl. My wife was 28 when we met and to be honest that was at the low end of my age range and I was a little concerned but after getting to know her I realized she is the most mature, level headed girl i've been with in my entire life, regardless of age.
Hi @Electrichead64 ! Wow😍 That is very true, being immature or mature is regardless of age. You are very lucky that you met your wife. We are very happy for you. God bless you and her.
My filipina wife and i have a 20 year age gap and she was 22 when we met. She had to take care of her family from a young age even if she is the youngest of 4 siblings and that shows on her maturity, she is atleast as mature as i am but like one of the girls said maturity is also combined with life experience. But she can space out when she is with her filipina friends and take a break from being an adult and being childish and i love that about her. We all need that mental pause once in a while 😊
Hi @mickie2412 ! We’re very happy for you❤️. There are really Filipinas like your wife especially in the provinces of the Philippines and definitely they’re responsible and kind too ! You are very lucky that you met your wife. God bless you and your family!
I like fun in my life, so if being happy, giggling, and laughing seems immature, then let's all be immature and enjoy our lives! None of us are here very long on earth, so there is no reason to hold back laughing, joking, and acting a little immature at times, especially when you are in the land of smiles, PH! Enjoy! We can have our serious times when need be.
Age does not equal maturity. Age offers a chance and opportunity for maturity but maturity is a choice. That is why there are 50-year-old boys and 19-year-old men. The same can be said about Pinays. Even if she is immature she has a choice to become mature for both her and her partners sake.
Younger Filipinas maybe immature but that is just part of the charm. Guys find it cute and part of its appeal is that men want to protect that innocence. That being said, Filipinas know what they want, they know what being feminine is and know the traditional boundaries set on them while in a relationship which already shows more maturity then most women in the west. That is all guys really want/care about so for older partners, I would think they appreciate and respect them to the point they will overlook any other immaturities.
I agree my filipina does seem spoiled and immature when I am not there with her. When we are together its all fine but when she is with her family its like dealing with an immature brat. it makes it hard to move anything forward.
I don't think age is a defining factor in maturity level. Yes, younger people are generally seen as immature, but there are some that have had to grow up quick and VERY mature for their young age. There are older people that can be far more immature than a younger person. It just depends on the person and their background. I joined the military at 17, and was in a position dealing with nuclear weapons, I had to grow up FAST. It also depends on the foreigner, some are OK with a younger immature woman just so they can show off they have a young pretty girl on their arm. Other foreigners want a mature woman that knows how to be in a relationship, that already knows the dynamics of one, knows how to compromise, knows how to work together with her partner to achieve a common goal, etc., they want someone who knows how to be a mature partner, not someone they have to raise as a child. But always being serious, mature, and adulting adds more stress and is bad for your mental health. Sometimes you just need to pull your pants down and slide on the ice, be immature, act like a child, and just take a break from reality, forget about real life and just have some fun.
Hi @ejtaylor73 ! You are right. Age can’t define someone’s maturity level. We are very proud of you. Joining military at 17 and dealing with nuclear weapons is something that you won’t believe you can especially at that very young age.
Good Subject here. I want to thank you Fuentes Fam for a great channel. 👍. The first lady Maria. She seems so mature for not having experienced relationships yet. That is exactly the kind of girl i am always hoping to be with. She is blessed to have a good education and a good age to start her life from. 🙏. I'm thinking if Bicol is where I will first visit when I finally make it to the Philippines. So many great girls in your videos ❤😊
You’re welcome @soolionmargod . Yes you have to visit Bicol when you come to the Philippines. Not just great girls but Bicol also is a beautiful place.
I married a Dominican girl and she is 10 years 4 months younger than me. We got married when I was 53 and she was 43 but she is well educated and lives by her self and has experience in life. Age is a criteria and maturity, integrity, respect, responsibility, and be of the same religion. There is exceptions to the rule but for me I would never marry a 20 year old..
immaturity is very tolerable if it comes in pair with respect towards you and a tendency to listen and play along since all the responsibility will be on his shoulders that's the only way it could work without being too lobsided
Maturity does not directly correlate to age. But, from interacting with over a thousand Filipina between 16 and 60, I find that those under 23 are extremely influenced by toxic western feminism. Unfortunately, the country that requires women over 23 to take a class/seminar before traveling to a foreign country to start a job also allows children, even under 10 to use Tiktok, Facebook, Instagram, and other social media sites known to be frequented by pedofiles and sex traffickers.
Being immature can be at any age!! I’ve met people in there 50’s I thought that were that way!! How one handles themselves prob starts in the very early years of ones life. If you have good mature role models then it’s a good chance that those quality traits will be instilled in the child early on. Just my two bits on the subject
Hi Kamustaka. I plan to visit the Philippines in December/January. If the first girl (Maria) or 3rd girl (Claire) is still single, I would like to meet her if she is interested in an age gap relationship. Salamat

In your opinion, when is a pinay old enough to not be immature? Is one who is 29 and has a daughter mature enough to be trustworthy in a relationship with a guy 30 years older than her? I ask because I believe my gal is responsible and cautious enough to be able to honestly commit to a long term relationship [marriage], but maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I'm the immature one and I should give her a break and cut her loose. All I want is for her and her daughter to be happy. A good topic might be, 'Do Filipina's settle for older foreign men?' That has been on my mind for months.
Actually you’re the only one who can answer whether she’s mature enough to be trustworthy and to commit a long term relationship. Once you meet her and be with her for a long time or even short time, maybe you could answer that question. But to be honest, a lot of Filipinas are really mature enough for a relationship, it just depends to their partners or the relationship.
Interesting. You could also do a video on communication between foreigners and their Filipina girlfriend. The Filipinas that you interview seem to understand English but they mostly respond in another language. How does it affect their relationship with a foreigner? Do they pick up English quickly? Does it lead to a lot of misunderstanding?
Hi @mikhailbulgakov1472 ! Yeah they could understand English but they’re very shy to speak it, they choose to answer the questions in Tagalog because that’s where they are comfortable and could express themselves.
As an American married to a Filipina, yes, there is a language barrier. What we and they consider fluent are very different. Culture is also a big obstacle. Having to "pay off" family members is trying.

Immature is not the right Word...I think filipina in the province does not have much life experience sometimes and they get attracted to a Expat who is also not experienced in life. You must understand that some expats look for a filipina because they have not as high standards as American women..the older man maybe had failed marriage or a widow so they have little dating experiences.
Hi @merwinjohnston7074 ! Yeah some younger people act immature but there's also some that are matured enough and sometimes the older people are the ones who are acting like children.

Hi @bobbylinquit4169 ! Thanks for stopping by and we appreciate your suggestion. Actually, we would love to use Filipino language but we also have foreigners watching our videos. There are more Filipinos that could understand English than Foreigners that could understand tagalog.
Of course they are ...imature and they should be they have a life time of experience to encounter
Hi @user-bh1se9hn9j ! Yeah there are some people that are young and immature but there are also few people regardless their age is matured already.
They lack age experience. They act inmature.
Hi @merwinjohnston7074 ! Yeah some younger people act immature but there's also some that are matured enough and sometimes the older people are the ones who are acting like children.
Who does? Are you speaking for all of them?
In short , yes. It's sickening to see Grandpa (60+) with 18-29 year old poor province girl.
