I can't think of a better tune to indicate the depth of Julia's feelings for the man she had stood by through Hell and high-water pants. (Not that either of them would be caught dead in a pair, mind you.) Anyway, that was a brilliant combination of clips and song. I never understood the cool detachment that Barnabas expressed toward her at times, unless it was his way of sparing her the fate of those who would love him. Julia's "cure" enabled him to love any other than she; how sad for her.
I was always amazed how Julia stuck by Barnie even with the shabby way he treated her many times. Love truly is blind. Poor Julia!

I believe Barnabas loved Julia, he was just afraid if Angelique knew would kill her and he couldn't handle loosing her.
