Rather rude, but i will reply. Simple solution is to get a fair and just system in place that works and quickly reduces the number of people awaiting a decision. What that has to do with my attitude is beyond me. I can only presume you may think that people who should not be here should stay. Kind of makes a mockery of the situation, dont you think.
You can’t return people to France as the “first country” because Britain left the EU where this mechanism was part of the Dublin Regulation. An ordinary member of the public can be ignorant, but it does not reflect well on an MP.
This actually is the refugee treaty rule. But Dublin protocol provided mechanism to implement it. France truly should end this problem. @@KevinApte So, why exactly would France do that? Are they somehow obliged to do so? Just "It helps us, so you have to do it" doesn't work. The uk is throwing vast sums of money at illegal immigrants. People who are of pension age have worked for their pension and no matter what their position is should get every penny, they can always give it to charity if they choose to. 🇬🇧🏴
@Lies Tricks So we agree on something government wasting taxpayers money. the people that have worked from school right through to pension age have contributed massively to this country, the agreement was with governments - is work contribute and you/we will receive a state pension, the government is starting to demolish that agreement. This country and us taxpayers are being taken advantage of by people that are giving nothing and are very unlikely to give anything to this country. 🇬🇧🏴
Sometimes I think they are fighting about who they can catch to clean up the mess, maybe that is why they don't mention it. They need a victim that will actually work as opposed to play around or do horrible economics. So this victim must have sane economic intelligence and be willing to work hard. Could be that they could only find someone like that in India. You didn't hear it from me, right!
Don't buy into the idea that you need to form political unions with trading partners. Nobody expects the Japanese or Chinese to form a political union with Europe despite selling so much to it. Losing the single market and customs union something we had in the old Common Market was how the EU punished us for daring to leave. What we were doing by leaving was rejecting the Maastricht Treaty ratification "ever closer union", something also rejected by those six countries who held referendums originally. They were told to go and vote again under the Lisbon Treaty and this time get it right. You could say Brexit was caused by the EU itself. The old Common Market functioned perfectly fine but the federalists couldn't leave well alone.

The migrant crisis is not due to a "lack of will" but rather a lack of competence by a party which has lost touch with both reality and sanity.
Half the problem is it's the civil service is in charge, the government needs to take charge again.
