I've made my piece with the anime-only content lol. I didn't even know what this was when I first watched it. A friend of my mum's was in South Carolina and saw a store selling manga and anime DVDs, knew I liked anime and called and asked what I wanted. I said anything. I got the last seven episodes of this one DVD, watched em, went and looked for the rest of the series online.

I consider FMA and FMA: Brotherhood two separate stories. They start out the same and have many of the same characters, but at the end of they day they're different things, with their own canon, that can be appreciated - and loved - for what they are. I love both series. I don't think of one as "fake" and the other as "real."

in Brotherhood, if Scar hadn't killed them, Kimblee would have. I don't know if I prefer Scar or Mustang doing it, it adds so much to both of their characters, but I prefer both over Kimblee doing it. In general, I prefer Brotherhood on almost every account, except here.
