As a wise US Navy Admiral once said "Start your day by making up your bed, it gives you a constant to start your day on. After a couple days throw in some new things to your routine and before you know it you will be living your best life" I know it is a really simple thing but it made a huge difference towards getting me up and moving more. I struggle with severe depression and anxiety on a regular basis. Having a routine has helped my mental state immensely. And I still try to do at least one new thing everyday. Keep your head up man. It will get easier. This damn virus has to go away at some point

Some people who are abused as children go on to become abusers themselves. Do you ever look in the mirror at yourself and realize what you have overcome in your life? I'm there with ya. Just restarted antidepressants after years of being off of them. Life has been crappy this past few months, I've developed ptsd, anxiety, and depression from recent events. It will be okay. We have to believe in that.

Depression is like waiting for a storm to end, you know it will end but it feels like forever and you know there will be a lot of damage after but you feel powerless but then it ends and you start to rebuild but feel a little weaker every time. It has to be the worst disease we have. What helps me is a quote from a great fictional man Dale Cooper who says "I'm going to let you in on a little secret: Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it, don't wait for it, just let it happen. It could be a new shirt in a men's store, a cat nap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot, black coffee". I feel for you man bad the storm will end then life will become good again.
Stay strong brother you are an inspiration to many people. I'm in medical school and it's driving me crazy. One of the cool things I like to do to relax is to watch your videos stay strong buddy.

As someone who suffers from depression and frequently just tries to get lost in games and MTG/LoR to forget about the world for a bit, I am well aware of how shitty people can be. Yes, even the "take a shower" bs. People who don't know what PTSD/anxiety/depression are like need to just do some research and learn some empathy.

I've been there many times, without the financial security, pretty much the opposite. You're very different in many ways, but I always respected this kind of videos. Definitely couldn't be a 'public' personality, can't even comprehend the thought, even. I'm very lucky to live in a country, that takes care of me for now, and I'll try to give it back at some point.

Boogie do you know what i think will help? Take everything out of your room. Paint it a brighter colour then put everything back maybe even a new setup? Switch things around get some colourful led lights, some candles, a dehumidifier, play some calling sounds (rain, waterfall etc) when your feeling down. Give it a chance

I don't know if you're ever going to read this man but if you do, you know more than anyone that you are in your own head, you can't sit there and tell me you don't feel so much better when you do things out of the house like go to Disney, conventions, gatherings with people who love you who don't live with you. You have made it so far dude, you have stuck it out through all of the trauma and bullshit that you deal with on the daily. Like you said in this video you have people who love you, a job you used to love doing, money in the bank, etc. Find what you love doing again, to me it seems as if you lost your love for yourself in a way. I'm sure many people yourself included tell you/yourself that self care is so important I know you may not feel like doing the things you described when you're feeling low in life but once you do those things you will be so much more confident in yourself and you'll start to feel more and more like you again. I have been watching you since I was 13 or 14 and I just turned 23. I still remember when you wished me a happy birthday on twitter years ago. Not a knock on you but I put you on to a lot of my friends when you did the subscription boxes and the rants. People didn't fall in love with Francis they fell in love with Steven the guy who created him, the no matter what's happening in my personal life I'm going to brighten other peoples day's type of guy. Legal troubles/harassment is likely to cause anybody to have issues, much less living in an area where gunshots are heard regularly enough the legal system tried to make an example of you despite some mitigating circumstances. Going to jail, even for a day, could mess people up as well. Couple that with anything else -- general anxiety and depression -- that isn't a recipe for good health. boogie i got covid this year had it bad when i got better i went to the doctor because i was feeling sad and depressed and still going thru it ... my lab results came back that i had low T so im getting a treatment when my new labs come back in and hope it gets better soon ... i hope you get better soon too brother
As a person who got depression, yes, you need a way to express how you feel... what you don't usually do is parade it around all the time in streams and random videos in constant off comments to gaslight your audience into giving you constant sympathy. I'm amazed you didn't actually do it in this video... "I HOPE" you keep doing that and stop manipulating your fans into giving you constant love, I don't think you ever needed to actually do that.

Find more things that make you feel like a person. Even if you have to fake it, you might have an experience that sparks something that can pull you out. Once a long time again, I broke my depression with a train of thought. It felt weird to feel normal, but you can do it too.

You have a good status about you and if you were going to end up in jail it would have happened already so they could immediately get bail money from your earnings through youtube etc. That never happened and it most likely won't because of how long this has gone on. ive off and on watched you for well over a decade boogie, and while i havent enjoyed every twist and turn, and even if im not always able to keep up, i always find myself moved by how much you try. it really helped me at my worst when i lost everything. i know that doesnt amount to much but you do reach people and that means a lot

Now I don’t exactly know what you experienced but I imagine it was not handled properly if these are your emotions. Speaking from my experience my faith has helped me through dark places. The thought of someone as powerful as God and someone as compassionate as Jesus, who took my sins, is truly comforting. Someone to comfort me and give me wisdom in the valleys of my life, someone to give me the nudge to quit bad habits, and someone to help me be a kind and loving person when sometime I wanna be a jerk and flip my lid has helped me exponentially. Now, I am not perfect because no one on earth is, but the thought of the God of the universe have a personal relationship with me is what helped me through the hard times. Again, I don’t know your situation and that’s non of my business, but from my personal experience I have comfort in that relationship, and I know he can have that with you too.

So many people knew the bible like the back of their hand and claimed to know Jesus but their life wasn't changed... I do not believe in Him because of religion/cults... That's it... simple as *I do not want people to take my word for it* Yes dude so many people claim to know Jesus and they actually don't... I have seen it time and time again

I've been there many times, without the financial security, pretty much the opposite. You're very different in many ways, but I always respected this kind of videos. Definitely couldn't be a 'public' personality, can't even comprehend the thought, even. I'm very lucky to live in a country, that takes care of me for now, and I'll try to give it back at some point.

dude i wish i could’ve seen this over the past year… i was so fucked up for a good couple months and i was only 17 now 18. i still struggle but it’s not as bad and it’s nice knowing other people feel the same way and also have to deal with depression. we’re not alone

Boogie do you know what i think will help? Take everything out of your room. Paint it a brighter colour then put everything back maybe even a new setup? Switch things around get some colourful led lights, some candles, a dehumidifier, play some calling sounds (rain, waterfall etc) when your feeling down. Give it a chance

I don't know if you're ever going to read this man but if you do, you know more than anyone that you are in your own head, you can't sit there and tell me you don't feel so much better when you do things out of the house like go to Disney, conventions, gatherings with people who love you who don't live with you. You have made it so far dude, you have stuck it out through all of the trauma and bullshit that you deal with on the daily. Like you said in this video you have people who love you, a job you used to love doing, money in the bank, etc. Find what you love doing again, to me it seems as if you lost your love for yourself in a way. I'm sure many people yourself included tell you/yourself that self care is so important I know you may not feel like doing the things you described when you're feeling low in life but once you do those things you will be so much more confident in yourself and you'll start to feel more and more like you again. I have been watching you since I was 13 or 14 and I just turned 23. I still remember when you wished me a happy birthday on twitter years ago. Not a knock on you but I put you on to a lot of my friends when you did the subscription boxes and the rants. People didn't fall in love with Francis they fell in love with Steven the guy who created him, the no matter what's happening in my personal life I'm going to brighten other peoples day's type of guy. Legal troubles/harassment is likely to cause anybody to have issues, much less living in an area where gunshots are heard regularly enough the legal system tried to make an example of you despite some mitigating circumstances. Going to jail, even for a day, could mess people up as well. Couple that with anything else -- general anxiety and depression -- that isn't a recipe for good health. Peace be with you, man, and do what you gotta do to feel better :)
boogie i got covid this year had it bad when i got better i went to the doctor because i was feeling sad and depressed and still going thru it ... my lab results came back that i had low T so im getting a treatment when my new labs come back in and hope it gets better soon ... i hope you get better soon too brother

As a person who got depression, yes, you need a way to express how you feel... what you don't usually do is parade it around all the time in streams and random videos in constant off comments to gaslight your audience into giving you constant sympathy. I'm amazed you didn't actually do it in this video... "I HOPE" you keep doing that and stop manipulating your fans into giving you constant love, I don't think you ever needed to actually do that.

Find more things that make you feel like a person. Even if you have to fake it, you might have an experience that sparks something that can pull you out. Once a long time again, I broke my depression with a train of thought. It felt weird to feel normal, but you can do it too.

Now I don’t exactly know what you experienced but I imagine it was not handled properly if these are your emotions. Speaking from my experience my faith has helped me through dark places. The thought of someone as powerful as God and someone as compassionate as Jesus, who took my sins, is truly comforting. Someone to comfort me and give me wisdom in the valleys of my life, someone to give me the nudge to quit bad habits, and someone to help me be a kind and loving person when sometime I wanna be a jerk and flip my lid has helped me exponentially. Now, I am not perfect because no one on earth is, but the thought of the God of the universe have a personal relationship with me is what helped me through the hard times. Again, I don’t know your situation and that’s non of my business, but from my personal experience I have comfort in that relationship, and I know he can have that with you too.

I was in religion, I prayed mechanically every night (without actually believing in Him). So many people knew the bible like the back of their hand and claimed to know Jesus but their life wasn't changed...
