Thank you so much for uploading this, I have never been lucky enough to see JOJ in this role, he is bloody brilliant as I Knew he would be!!♥️ This Javert is pretty awesome too ♥️ WOW!!!♥️
Remarkably good recording quality. Thanks for posting.
I live in Tasmania Australia and nothing like this happens in Tasmania so thank you so so much for uploading this as I have always wanted to see the stage performance. I loved it from start to finish. What a wonderful cast. I will certainly watch it again. THANK YOU
I live in Sydney Australia and things like this happens every day
LOVE the staccato in the orchestra at 1:13:16, Subtle change but freaking awesome! Also, Jon Robyns is arguably the best Enjolras
Definitely not! Sorry.
@@beethockmtee8565 No that’s fair enough we all have different opinions haha!
I saw Jon Robyns as Jean Valjean yesterday and he was fantastic! (i an probably bias as he is the only one I have seen as Jean Valjean but i think he is the best! 😂)
David Thaxton is brilliant too
Jon Robyn’s did played Marius that was way back
I've watched a few and this might be the ultimate production of Les Mis...Oh it's just so good.
Wow, and I loved Colm Wilkinson Philip Quast and Lea Salonga the dream team. Still do but this is amazing John Owen Jones his passion and acting draws you in. Oh yes he's Jean Valjean
Incredible! Although I saw it so many times, I still cried whenever I sat down and watch it seriously. It is so touching. Thanks for the upload!
Wow!!! Beautiful. Bring Him Home. Just beautiful. So emotional and fitting. Bravo.
AHH this is my favorite cast i love them so much!!!
Finally a bootleg when I can see and hear Rosa O'Reilly clearly :o thank you so much !!
My school is doing this as their production this year, I have only ever watched the movie but now I’ve watched this I am even more excited
John Owens-Jones' Bring Him Home... *EPIC*
that was so amazing. Im so glad I could watch the theatre performance of this.. Its just.. so good and all the actors fit their role so well they all did amazing
Also, maybe the best all-around production I have ever seen. The direction was fantastic and the performances universally great. My only complaint was I thought that the Fantine's voice was a little on the shrill side. And Javert's Suicide was may be the best I've ever seen, great acting!
i'm a bit late but i agree 100%. the transitions from scene to scene were so smooth you barely noticed them
finale is really not sad it was hunting and creepy 😱😱
Its so sad that a little fall of rain is in the same tune that marius asks her to bring a letter to cosette in eponine’s errands 😢
So many repeated themes and musical sentences from Schoenberg and Boublil. Part of the genius of their sung throughs.
ロンドン公演行きたい!見るのが夢!
estuvimos con mi hijo menor en el 2013 en londres viendo este increible espectaculo, fue realmente emocionante.
We saw the show with this cast 3 months before in Paris. Phenomenal.
Is the foreman who fired Fantine always her first client? I’ve never noticed that…devastating.
Loved Alfie--and Ramin--but saw JOJ on Broadway, and he is the BEST!
God, I would give anything to see JOJ!!
The opening scene here always makes my skin crawl, but in a good way
That freaking base at 1:02:10 is so powerful jesus, you can just feel a beast come out of him right there. Earl Carpenter is also just peak Javert to me. His gait and performance is just perfect.
This is a fantastic cast!
I saw Les Mis in London for my 21st birthday... which would've been a few months prior to this recording. So this is very close to the same case we saw!!! Thanks for the memories :)
Man, John Owen-Jones is incredible! Hot damn.
didnt know jon robyns played up the exr subtext as much as that but considering how much he played up valvert a few years later it… makes sense
My favorite play of all times eponine my favorite character such a powerful she has but everyone else is awesome to just love this musical
the sniffles at the end are so real bc same
My favorite Valjeans (in no particular order)
Colm Wilkinson
Ramin Karimloo
John Owen Jones
Thank u for uploading this.
Watching this while being only familiar with the movie version, and hearing all these verses and entire songs I've never heard before, all I gotta say is, HOW MUCH DID TOM HOOPER CUT FROM THIS THING!?!?
Thanks for sharing 👍
There are so many different versions of Empty Chairs at Empty Tables but this is the one that always breaks my heart 2:10:54
thanks for posting. great memories to relive! does anyone remember a rotating stage and pivoting sets though? (NGL i thought this Eponine kinda mangled it. On My Own is a tender broken hearted melancholic song, not a maniacal hysteria.
Brilliant😭😭from Japan!!!!
I know damn well people were crying towards the end. Because I SOBBED.
Is not sad because the Barricade is a place for us
if u notice in lovely ladies when they say "thats right dearies let him have the lot, Thats right dearie show him what you've got. Is said in the wrong order but the talent of the actors they instantly replace the line and carry on no fuss at all
The work song, great opening.
it’s kanda like star wars between vljean and Javart fight with handcuffs
john & earl make the perfect team, wish they'd got to perform together in the OLP!
Bring him home nearly brought me to tears
