    Very nice bike, I own a 2022 model and this bike can do a lot, covers the sportiness, covers the comfort, and makes every ride enjoyable. I like your approach to driving, as you said, staying within your limits, learning, etc., and I think every rider should approach their rides in that way, keeping them and others in traffic safe. Stay safe and enjoy it.

    We took 2 Ninjas ( and the same model year ) and they're very good sport touring bike for beginner because of its power response,reliability and other advantages. Even we've totally ridden 2 Ninjas for about 110K, we still think it is a very good choice for not only beginner.

      Two reasons to go for the 1000sx: Panniers and 4 cylinder sound.
      Two reasons to go for the 650: a lighter bike and cheaper.
      The 1000sx is very tame specially in rain mode, however even in rain mode you’ll be getting more power than the ninja 650 produces in full power.
      I love the 1000sx specially when I’m camping with my girlfriend or friends. That extra torque going uphills makes life easier.

    I have a 23 Ninja 1000SX as my 2nd bike. My first was the Tiger 900 Gt Pro. They are both great bikes, but the Ninja is just so smooth. As long as you know your limits its a safe ride. Nice drone footage, what is the make of it? I have had the ecu flashed, a taller windscreen, Headers and a full arrow exhaust system. Really waked the bike up. Yes, I also ride with ear plugs all the time. Also got ali express concave mirrors on the front. Makes a big difference for not much money.

    • @LiterFreedom
      @LiterFreedom  9 місяців тому

      The drone is a DJI FPV, the first model they made.
      A tiger 900 as a first bike is crazy haha I’m glad you kept safe. I did feel that the 1000 was “friendly” enough to learn on with all the riding aids specially the traction control. The exhaust on your N1k must sound amazing! I would love to hear one in person but I bet she’s LOUD.
      I have to ask you…Did the ECU flash really make a big difference? I’m considering getting my done soon, I hear that you won’t gain a lot of power but the throttle response will make her a different beast.
      The convex mirror seems like a great idea too, I’m looking into them right now haha.
      Thank you for your feedback. It seems you know more about the N1k than I do haha.

      Mate, I am actually torn apart between gettig a Triger 900 and a Ninja 1000SX as my first bike after 125cc.
      I have a need for both commuting and touring, and want to be able to get a pillion with me.
      Aside from the "more allroundedness" of the Tiger since it's an adventure, a downside of the Ninja is that it cannot hold both the top case and the panniers at the same time.
      That makes the Ninja a lesser good choice for touring more than a weekend.
      What is your take?
      Since you had the two, which one would you recommend?

    • @s2k442
      @s2k442 6 місяців тому

      @@nickskywalker2568 Man that is a tough question. Do you really need both side cases and top box? The ninja is a smoother ride, less vibrations in handle bars, more power, better stock tires than the Tiger. Triumph service schedule is more expensive and frequent intervals. After having both I would lean towards the Kawasaki. Try and ride both if you can. Either way, they are both nice bikes

    • @nickskywalker2568
      @nickskywalker2568 6 місяців тому

      @@s2k442 Thanks for the answer.
      I am single at the moment so I the eed for both side cases andtop cases might not be as important, although I would need to see what I can fit in the panniers to be certain.
      I might go for the Ninja until I found my partner.
      But you are right I should try them both anyway to see if there is any other discriminating factor.

      Funnily i spotted her during covid and the massive supply shortages and fell instantly in love ;) So I was forced to decide quickly. In fact, I ended up buying her 1 month before I even completed my license, LOL.
      i was using the dji mic as well which I found to be great for the dual mic option. Recently I changed to the dji mic 2 which adds the extremely convenient option to pair the sender right to my action 4 without the need for the receiver, this way my action 4 is still fully sealed and causes less wind resistance and turbulence mounted on my helmet.
      Just bad you can only pair 1 at a time... However, I might try to use the 2nd mic in backup recording mode when I'm in need of a helmet mic.
      Placing the mic either on the quick mount or the handle of my tank bag keeps it nicely within the windshield cover (using the magnetic method on the quick mount however occasionally adds some vibrating noises). I'm working out a quickmount method to put it on the inside of my (black) windshield for best performance.

    • @LiterFreedom
      @LiterFreedom  8 місяців тому

      I have seen some people use the camera's audio from the windshield cover as well, in our case we don't have clear wind shields to get good footage of the road but it might work if you're trying to record yourself from that pov, you can try just to see the differences in audio quality...
      I have tried to put a mic under the rear seat but it adds so much vibration noise haha. I even tried getting good audio with a lavalier mic but no luck with that either...
      We just have to keep trying, hopefully over the next few months we'll come up with a better solution! Let me know if you find one, for now the jacket or pant's pocket will have to do 😂

    Hi, I'm a beginner, 53 years old, I bought a ninja 1000 sx last december as my first bike. And since I love this bike, maybe It Will be my last. It's not easy to start with a bike like this, but in some way it's possible, since the bike Is not brutal if you respect It. Just a question: when we see your figures, are they km/k or mph?

    • @LiterFreedom
      @LiterFreedom  7 місяців тому +1

      That’s amazing! I’ve heard of a few people who started on this 1000sx but not many! She’s certainly very powerful but she also has a “tame” throttle for a sport bike! I could see myself keeping this bike for several years!
      When you watch the videos about the 1000sx the speed is in Km/h!

    Is 200 kilos of 2 passengers to much for this bike?

    • @LiterFreedom
      @LiterFreedom  6 днів тому

      Nope, far from it! I weigh almost 100 and I have no problems riding up steep mountains at elevation with my girlfriend and heavy mountaineering gear in the back!
      You wont regret this bike! Other than replacing the horn a few days ago I had no other problems! Ride safe, brother!

    Of course it can handle the twisties, it handles the twisties better than the sportsbikes, it's just a modern day, fuel injected Yamaha FZS1000, FZ1 gen 1 in US language ;) it's THE perfect bike, it'll do everything and some

      @@LiterFreedom I have a Yammy fazer gen 1 , yep, best investment I've ever done ;) I do like the 1000SX though, I also have a ZX6R too, which is great for fun ride but the Fazer, it can do everything I throw at it, superb bike

      @@A_Pt_9298 I just looked at the FZ1 it’s funny how the 1000sx looks just like her when you remove the fairings haha. I’d love to have a zx6r or a zx10r to play on the weekends but I absolutely love the 1000sx on long tours. Hope you subscribe to see more content on this 1000sx…Maybe you’ll join the Ninja 1000 team someday haha Thanks for watching!

    Weird, I posted something but it seems to have disappeared. Anyway, yes the ecu flash makes a big difference. I do have some videos of the Arrow exhaust with stock headers and cat and with the new headers and no cat. Arrow also has a removable silencer that makes a big difference in bass tone and decibels about a 10db reduction. Just need to post a video of it for you.
    Check out these videos about how heavily restricted the ninja 1000 is from the factory:

      It's crazy how Kawasaki limits their bikes from the factory...Getting the ECU flashed out here is a bit more complicated because of the language barrier, it can still be done but I might just bring my ECU back to the US soon and send it to Moore Mafia to get it done, but taking the bike apart to get the ECU out is just a pain haha. Thank you for the input, brother. You're the man!

      It’s actually not that hard to remove ecu especially if you put a tail tidy on. Just drop the plastic fully there are two main bolts by the battery and the rear fender will completely drop down. Anyway, enjoy your bike

    However: a beginner can use It on a curvy mountain Road, but "to ride" or "to ride" Is something completely different. Yesterday I had a 440 km ride in Dolomites Italy together with 3 Friends: they had tò wait for me many many times, It was impossible for me to keep their pace

    I own the 21' Put Akrapovic Exhaust Headers on it , dyno jet power commander. Got rid of the factory taillights. Dunlop meats. It flies for the style bike it is. People that try to smoke me say "damn!" I Want the H2 but un-affordable.

      Yeah the H2 SX would be the only upgrade for this kind of bike for sure. Did the power commander make a big difference for you?
