****DISCLAIMER**** This is what worked for me, I don't know if it is going to work for you. I do not want to be responsible if my method doesn't work for you. Everyones hair is different just like skin. so please do your research before attempting to bleach your hair!
STEP #1
MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT WASH YOUR HAIR FOR AT LEAST 72 HOURS BEFORE ATTEPMTING TO BLEACH YOUR HAIR
STEP #2
APPLY COCONUT OIL TO YOUR HAIR THE NIGHT BEFORE SO IT CAN REALLY SET IN FOR 12 HOURS
MY BLEACHING MIXTURE
BLONDEME BLEACH
- 4 SCOOPS
BLONDEME 20 VOLUME DEVELOPER
- 4.5 SCOOPS
MAKE SURE THAT IT IS A CAKE LIKE TEXTURE
APPLICATION PROCESS 1ST ROUND
- TAKE THIN SECTIONS
- APPLY TO THE MID SHAFT FIRST
- THEN THE ROOTS
- THEN THE ENDS
- COVER WITH A HAIR CAP
MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE SATURATING YOUR HAIR REALLY WELL, IF YOU DONT APPLY ENOUGH YOU WILL BE LEFT WITH PIECES UN TOUCHED OR THAT DIDNT HAVE ENOUGH TO NOT LIGHTEN ENOUGH
LET SIT FOR TOTAL OF 50 MINS (FROM FIRST STARTING OF BLEACH APPLICATION)
AFTER 50 MINS RINSE BLEACH OUT AND SHAMPOO (DO NOT CONDITION)
IF YOUR HAIR NEEDS ANOTHER BLEACH, LET YOUR HAIR AIR DRY A BIT THEN BLOW DRY.
APPLY MORE COCONUT OIL AND LET IT SIT FOR 1 HOUR.
MIXING FOR 2ND ROUND
BLONDEME BLEACH
- 4 SCOOPS
BLONDEME 20 VOLUME DEVELOPER
- 4.5 SCOOPS
APPLICATION PROCESS 2ND ROUND
- I WISHED I HAD STARTED ON MY DARKER ENDS (WHERE IT WAS THE MOST YELLOW) BUT I STARTED FROM THE ROOTS AND WENT TO THE SHAFT. AS I WAS SCARED MY ENDS WERE GOING TO FALL OFF
- AGAIN SATURATE REALLY WELL!!
- I APPLIED WITH A BRUSH AND MY HANDS
- COVER WITH A HAIR CAP ( SPRAY LITTLE WATER IN CAP BEFORE PUTTING ON)
LET SIT FOR 20 MINS (AFTER FINISHED APPLY BLEACH)
RINSE OUT AND SHAMPOO ( DO NOT CONDITION)
TONER MIXTURE
- 20g 10/69 WELLA ILLUMINA COLOR
- 15g 9/60 WELLA ILLUMINA COLOR
- 70g WELLA WELLOXON PASTEL 1+2 6 Vol
* MIX AND APPLY ALL OVER HEAD. I DIDN'T GO IN SECTION CAUSE THIS CREME TONER LATHERS SO I JUST APPLIED WITH A BRUSH AND THEN RUBBED IT IN WITH MY HANDS*
LET SIT FOR 20 MINS (AFTER APPLICATION)
RINSE, SHAMPOO, CONDITION, STYLE!

Don’t use coconut oil on your hair before lightening it. Just makes the process harder. I believe that’s why your hair was SO yellow. Creates a barrier on your hair and bleach can not fully penetrate. Next time apply it only to your lengths when you do your root touch up to protect your lengths and prevent breakage.

you can add cool additive schwarzkopf to the bleach. It takes off a lot of that yellow tone and when you do the color after it's more even and you can go for colors like white or soft pastels.
GOALS YOU DID AMAZING!
Coconut oil BLOCKS the lightning process!!!! Don't use it! Do an Olaplex Treatment prior to strengthen the hair bonds. And yes I am a Pro 25+ yrs. Overall she did a good job for not being a pro.👍

Good rule of thumb is to do a bleach root touchup every 4-6 weeks .. the closer it is to the asap, the heat helps lift it more. The farther it is from the scalp it doesn’t lift as fast/well. Yours turned out great but just wanted to share this tip to make it easier in the future.
Gotta say I don't think brad would approve of the entire process, but what you used was great and it turned out well!

Wow very nice I have pixie cut too only my top is much shorter I seen many tutorials with pixie cuts? Ny hair is dark as well but I can't seem to get all the orange out and I have to bleach 2x then I put on toner that don't seem to take well? I use same bleach as you ill try your toners 🤞

It's the same type of coconut oil. They just rebrand it to fit a different target market. I have a huge jar of coconut oil that I put into smaller jars. One jar is labeled personal use and the other is labeled pet use.

I've added a couple teaspoons of Splenda to my bleach mixtures in the past & helps take some of the bite out of the sting

Hello Natty, as you can see in my picture I already had blond hair, my friend whom is a hairdresser did it in 2018. But now I want to try it myself. And you have a great tutorial, I already put coconut oil in my hair. I had hoped you would have made a video on the hairmasks you were talking about. Anyways thank you for your video, it gave me the strenght to try and bleach my hair also (this week probably).
I hope it turned out!!! The hair mask that I used was the blondeme for all blondes. It smelt good but I didnt think that it did much of anything. I would have just spent a little more money on a better product!
For first round did you use 20 vol or 30 vol with the lightner ?

Brilliant outcome, thank you so much for sharing! Went off and had my tiny pixie tamed a bit more back into shape. Bought myself the necessary Schwarzkopf products, now wish me luck for tomorrow please. Couldn’t find the same toning products here in Australia, so had to do some guesstimating... again wish me luck please. I have to say that this is one of the best videos for achieving exactly what I want. Time will tell. Thank you again ❤️
How did it turn out? I’ve got longer hair about a level 3 or 4 and about 5 inch grey roots. I’m going to be trying this at the weekend but not sure what to do about the roots...
@@sootyspark7281 Hi! Well, the bleaching part went well. I added Cureplex into the bleaching mixture and it certainly affected the bleaching power, so I didn’t quite get to a level 10. My own hair is just starting to turn white at the very front and sides, and I am a natural Mousey blonde level 7, so normally my hair bleaches fast to a level 10. But with Cureplex, no damage yay! I also added Cureplex to the toning process, 10 vol developer and not the correct colour. I don’t like how it turned out, far too golden for me. I am naturally ash toned and cool skin. But, I was trying not to get breakage, so I guess I achieved that goal. Next time, I will leave the bleach on longer, and find a better colour toner. Let me know how your hair turns out please? I’m in Australia, and couldn’t find the same toner that was used in this video, plus my own hair is a lot lighter, hope that helps a bit ❤️

@@mama_lifestyle_etc The toners I bought have turned my hair far too golden, and I hate it. About to have a shower and throw in purple shampoo and see if that eases my pain. I will go on ebay and amazon and see if I can find the exact toners you used, but they often don’t ship that stuff to Australia 🤗

I think it would have bleach more without the coconut oil because it’s creating a barrier.... and after your doing a good moisturizing and reconstructing mask.... and your hair are fine

I did do it all in one day I think it took 6 hours in total or just over. It turned silver at first then goes to a nice white blonde.
How long did your toner last before you had to reapply? Your tutorial was the BEST EVER!
I only used the toner when I retouched my roots. I used purple shampoo in between and it brought back to when I first dyed my hair☺️ so every 6 - 8 weeks

it really turned out great! I am still wondering whether I can cut my hair short and do a full head blonde like this; I find it rather scary - I would be afraid it would not suit me. You really pull it off very well!
I always say hair can grow back and if it didn't turn out like this I probably would have just went back brown or an Asher blonde. I think I got lucky on my first try. But you never know until you try it out! If you do it let me know how it turned out! xoxox
Try the color change before you try the short cut, baby steps.
If you’re still bleaching. The Blondme is absolutely the best brand in the world. It’s has a bond maintaining in it and lifts up to 9 levels.,
I had ti stop bleaching cause I was pregnant but if I ever went to lighten my hair i agree Blondeme is the absolute best!!!

I don’t know exactly as I’m not a hair stylist. I would have to see what your hair look is like to give you some idea. I would go back and tell them you’re not happy with it. It sounds like you need another bleach possibly to lighten it up more. Maybe try blue shampoo instead of purple as blue counter acts orange. I hope that helps xoxox

That al depends on your hair colour level and texture. You can as I did back to back but I know what what hair can take. I’d do I once and go from there and see where your hair is at ☺️ Hope that helps!
Hey was just wondering how this toner stuck/ washes out. That seems to be my issue even though I let it process for 20 mins 😬
It stayed for about 3 weeks for me cause I o my washed my hair 1 a week. But the purple shampoo helped keep it it’s silver color when I used it

Hi Natty I have just followed you and bought the same items. the only problem is I have found my hair more lilac than silver whixh is not as nice as your silver colour ! Any tips flower ? Jaqui (in the uk) xxx
Hi!! The lilac should fade over a few washes. It depends on your type of hair and how long you left it on. The lilac is to cancel out the yellow to make it whiter/ silver. See what happens after a couple washes for next time maybe try washing it out 5 minute earlier. Hope this helps xox

I don’t know, I did my research on my dark color hair. It would probably lift it but I don’t know how much it would. I’d check other videos and do some research to find out. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help.

I bleached my hair twice and my hair ist still darker than yours but I don't want to bleach again. Should I use 20 Volume oxydant to bleach my hair on toning/coloring process?

@@mama_lifestyle_etc It's ok. Thank you for the reply. I didn't realize that my hair was too dark to color it but I did. It definitely reduced yellow and orange. Now it looks matt but it's definitely not Platinum Blond 😂 I could have bleached my hair again but it wouldn't make sense. Half of my hair was already colored and the bleach didn't work well on the colored part.
@@liana6827 ohhhhh I see... Yeah if you have previously colored hair that was dark you need to try and lift that first before doing your virgin hair. With darker hair patience is key. annoying but key lol. xo

Haha, yes that is what I meant to say. Sorry sleep deprived this morning. I have t used it for a while cause I got pregnant. But if I were to use bleach again, it would definitely be Blondeme. I would recommend just getting the 20 volume though cause I got the 30 and it did dry my hair the third time I bleached.

What was the color of you hair before and after you bleached? Did you get it to a pale yellow? The silver doesn’t stay is stays for a couple days it goes to a white blonde after you do a couple washes.
Yeah I was all over blonde prior, I just did a root touch up and then put this all over! I just bought Redken Shade EQ 9T so hoping I can get a more silver look with that! I hear a 9T/9V/9P combo is beautiful so I’m gonna try that!

I went from purple to blue with color oops and omg it does stink sooooo bad never again - 2 nights later I did the dish soap, developer, purple shampoo & baking soda mixture and I was platinum in 20 min! I still can't believe it
