Ehhh... I mean, if they were not gonna give us IBIS, at least give us dynamic from the ZV-E1. Im sticking with my mark 1. Not worth the upgrade for me.
Waited for that camera, but was disappointed what Sony delivered. For that price, they should include ibis, mechanical shutter, and AI processor. So, I decided to go with A6700 instead to compliment my A7IV. A6700 is going to be used only with one lens (Sigma 18-50) and purely for travel.
It was so easy to recommend the zve10 because those who asked me were mostly doing talking head and didn't need much. This fulfills that and now with 10-bit. Once this gets discounted. It'll be an easy recommendation again.
Sony did a huge update to their active stabilization! This is the reason why it looks pretty smooth even without IBIS. In my opinion there is no need to complain about the stabilization. This is almost GoPro or gimbal like. I think Sony did a fantastic job with the new cam!
I hope Sony still releasing IBISless models means we're going to at get more OSS lenses. Mark IIs of the 18-135, the 35 and 50 OSS, and a fast ultrawide OSS prime. That said Sony doesn't really do itself a favor calling the the ZV line 'vlogging' cameras. They're absolutely stellar 'content creator' / talking head models, but paradoxically the one thing they do quite poorly is run and gun walk and talk (especially with the Osmo Pocket 3 out as a cheaper alternative). I just can't wait until the IBIS from the RV and 9III trickle down into the basic models and FX line.
Unfortunately I wouldn't hold your breath on OSS lenses. This usually means larger lenses which sony prefer smaller cameras and smaller lenses. They will just choose better digital stability rather than compromise size. 4k 60fps and 10bit 4:2:2 is the biggest selling point here. I can make professional commercials with this sensor quality
@@JasonMorrisphotocinema gotcha! Really love the compact nature of this cam, but maybe it’s time to hit the gym so I don’t feel bothered by weight anymore😂

I think this camera does not really scratch the itch for anyone, the sony a6700 is way better for not that much more. And the mark 1 is 90 percent if this camera for way less.

I noticed in your walking shots, you must have shot them twice because the girl is a similar focal length but you can see much more of the houses and tree in frame. Would have liked to have seen the actual difference in crops that the FX30 has vs the new E10.
no. These were shot at the same time. Real results and no tricks. The crops are different because active stability is different. focus breathing comp is different per lens too which changes FOV
@@JasonMorrisphotocinema It just looks strange to see the girl appeared at almost the same focal length Where's the background appeared to be much more cropped in on the zve10. I think the actual crop in active on the zv-e10 is 1.5 on top of the 1.5 on APS-C. I can't find much on the stab crops on the fx30 and a6700.
