I'm sure that carrot cake is moist and delicious. My personal opinion is that there's never too much Ginger 😁. Your marzipan carrots are gorgeous! What a beautiful cake 😋
@@MyGermanRecipes Happy to hear that you are fine. You deserve a break. I'm quite certain the videos take a great amount of time to record, edit and produce. Your time is appreciated!
On your blog you said you sometimes use American cream cheese frosting, can you refer me to a recipe? I don't want to make too much. I noticed you can buy marzipan dough/carrots from Dr. Oatker/Odense (Danish brand). Do you recommend these brands or should I try my hand at making them from scratch (I love marzipan, I just don't want to do the extra work)? Many thanks.
I must have explained it in a way that seems to be misleading. The frosting in my recipe is almost the American Cream Cheese but with the German twist that some part of it is made with creme fraiche. If you use cream cheese instead of the cream fraiche, you will basically have the American version.
I’m going to make this recipe today for my mothers birthday to meet her dietary requirements. Wondering if this sponge is suitable for stacking in layers if I were to make it a two tier cake or three tier? Also would the frosting be stable enough for filling a layered cake or should I stabilise with more icing sugar? Thanks!!!
I am looking for a German Chicken Casserole recipe in which the three main ingredients are chicken, cabbage and the whole is topped with cheese? Do you know of any such a recipe? I must add that the person who told me about this still hold that Germany, Prussia, Switzerland and the Austro-Hungarian Empire are one and the same country which means it may be German, Swiss or Austrian in origin. She was however very clear that cabbage and not sauerkraut was used.
Great work ! Beautiful recipe ❣️ I really like how you present the recipe ❣️ can't wait to see more
I used your Black Forest recipe, pretzel, and cream sourkarut; they all came out perfect. I cannot wait to try this one 😁
I am overwhelmed by the number of recipes from your channel that I want to make. This one too now.

Beautiful!! You are such a talented baker! I think I would prefer this version because it does not contain raisins and coconut. 🥰🥕❤

@@MyGermanRecipes I understand now. Thank you. I look forward to making this carrot cake.

I think it will work. For the frosting a bit more sugar might make it mire stable, also cooling it.
I was told to crack eggs on a flat service so it do not send egg shell up into the egg yoke
Love whatever u do
Would u show us how 2: Blitz Torte
Thks 🙏
I'll set it on my list but it might take a while.

Mine came out so dry. I don't understand what went wrong.
Did you use a scale or cups for measurements?
@@MyGermanRecipes Thank you for your response. Yes, I did and I used Spelt. But I put just under a cup of oil.
Kind of complicated to get the measurements of this recipie😢
