Made this for our home bible study 2 Wednesday's ago, and it was gone within 10 mins! Everyone came back up for 2nd and 3rd helpings! My only change was switching out the oil for plain greek yogurt. And I put it in a bundt pan. Absolutely delicious! Whenever I need a sweet recipe, I always come to your channel first to see if you have what I'm looking for! Always easy to follow steps and guaranteed flavor! ❤

Hi Sam! This cake looks so good! I am excited to try it. I made your pumpkin cream cheese muffins, which were amazing, but then I have used that recipe twice since to make a cake, and it was the best cake I have ever eaten! I doubled the recipe and spread 2/3 of the batter into a 9x13 pan then spread the cream cheese mixture, followed by the remaining cake batter and streusel, and baked it at 325 ( I found that longer at a lower temp was better to keep the edges from cooking too fast) until a toothpick in the center came out clean. It was SO SO good! So if this cake is anywhere near as good I am sure I will love it :) For someone who doesn't like pumpkin, you sure do make delicious pumpkin deserts! thank you!

I think we're all going to have to get used to that as many companies are altering the size of their packaging to maintain a price point in this time of high inflation. I was just thinking that! I would use cinnamon emulsion, but they have pumpkin spice, also. At Christmas, when I bake a chocolate cake I add a touch of peppermint emulsion with the vanilla. ❤

This video kept popping up, so here I am.......a New subscriber! Instead of cutting off those pesky domes, invest in a couple of sets of "Cake Strips". You soak them in water and wrap the outside of the pans with them. The velcro holds them in place and NO MORE DOMES!!! I really need to try this cake!

We are using little sugar pie pumpkins this year. They are storing very well. Easy to roast and scoop out the flesh for recipes. Also, using extra baked sweet potato for pies, etc. Works very well and tastes fantastic.
@SugarSpunRun I think I underbaked slightly because I used different size tray. And I don't think i creamed the cheese and butter that well there was some butter lumps lol, I couldn't find stick cheese, don't think they sell that in UK?
Looks good I love pumpkin but for me I just use fresh pumpkin& boil it then mix it up, just me nothing against the way your doing (just my preference). I will try to accomplish the cake, but getting all kinds of different desserts year is taking a toll on me. I will be ok & thank you for sharing your recipes

Then all you have is a pretty cake you don’t want to eat. Well I think it could work I really like the traditional creaming method with this recipe because it adds a lightness to the cake that helps counter the heaviness of the pumpkin that you won’t really get with the reverse creaming method.

Hi, we don't consume regular white sugar in our home. Do you have any idea how much of Stevia I will need to make this cake?? I use granulated organic Stevia.
@@SugarSpunRunre: amount of batter for Bundt pan: this recipe is a bit shy of enough for my large Bundt pan. However, Bundt pans come in different sizes. Nonetheless, I used my Bundt , it was just a bit squatty . Tasted fantastic and only crumbs left.
If you have a dog he/she/they will probably be glad to take that extra pumpkin off your hands, or you can freeze it. Me, personally, I often keep any leftover pumpkin in the fridge and stir a spoonful or two into my morning oatmeal until it's gone --- I normally use roasted sweet potato and healthy doses of cinnamon, ginger & nutmeg so the pumpkin fits right in.

All butter will work here. The cake won't be quite as moist, but will still work. :)

Yes! Same temp, but start checking it with a toothpick at 35 minutes. Hope this helps 😊
When using a glass mixing bowl, I hold it up to see from the bottom if I got it all mixed in.

@@SugarSpunRunre: amount of batter for Bundt pan: this recipe is a bit shy of enough for my large Bundt pan. However, Bundt pans come in different sizes. Nonetheless, I used my Bundt , it was just a bit squatty . Tasted fantastic and only crumbs left.

If you have a dog he/she/they will probably be glad to take that extra pumpkin off your hands, or you can freeze it. Me, personally, I often keep any leftover pumpkin in the fridge and stir a spoonful or two into my morning oatmeal until it's gone --- I normally use roasted sweet potato and healthy doses of cinnamon, ginger & nutmeg so the pumpkin fits right in.
