Good tips, and I agree on most of them. Unfortunately here in Norway tailoring is very expensive, especially if you want to use a reliable and good tailor, So it is much better to buy a suit that has a big discount and use the rest of the money on tailoring. There are always discounts on suits and blazers, so it is in my opinion not very smart to buy this at full price.
@@stianschlssermller2886 Fair point! One thing you could do is get a custom suit at suit supply - they take all your measurements and the prices are the same worldwide. That being said, if you are close enough to a standard measurement (as I am, 48 fits me almost perfectly), getting an off the rack suit and getting it tailored is the perfect option!
@@theotht It’s great for the summer. Especially if it’s from a breathable fabric such as linen or a linen blend. If you don’t feel comfortable wearing a suit and tie on various non-formal occasions, you can always pair it with a linen shirt, a polo or other more casual options :)
@@samykingson5427Yep, that’s because the table I sit at is very high up so I have to hunch. Generally speaking, suits won’t line up perfectly when sitting down anyways
Can you do a video on perfect suit styles for body guards/security personnel?
Loved this one btw.
Besides following Gentleman's gazette and you, I personally also like Aspiring Gent, Gent Z, and Whatmyboyfriendwore
@@KUR00_88 Gent Z is definitely an inspiration and whatmyboyfriendwore is amazing at crafting outfits. I’ll check out Aspiring Gent as well!

The Chaps' Guide is another excellent channel, which travels beyond style to a range of lifestyle topics with a particular focus on British tradition.
Nice work, really interesting! Keep going!

Your first suit should be like a gloomy weather, overtime the weather clears and a much more brighter option is expressed for yiu

Why not horn buttons? Mother of pearl's are typically used in shirting, not regular suits.
@@alternateunreleasedshellac505 horn buttons are also a great option. That’s what I went for on my most recent suit. Just steer clear of plastic
@@Gentlemens-Order Yes, silk and semi-synthetic linings such as bemberg are great.
You have nice suit that suits you well
The collar gap of your suit is not perfect. The gap between shirt and suit collar should be not visible.
right , i notice that too . but when he stand drinking the coffee 4:20 there is no gap .

I look good in microfibre cloth
You suit from the collar is not fitted, too loose, a tailored made should should not be like that, your lapels are too skinny

@@tachyonator7986I agree. Good thing that this is a spread collar :)
