    Excellent review, Aaron! I agree 100% with you on all of your points. The Isolator build quality shocked me. The welds are immaculate and it truly feels commercial. There’s at least $3k in value in this machine and you can do everything in your rack.

    This has been the best review I’ve seen of this piece. I actually own most of the equipment in my basement gym that this can do, but seeing the build quality and the versatility.. I’m still tempted but am waiting on the squat arm that hopefully they release soon. I agree, this company is going places.

    Thanks for the great review. Just received mine and setup was quite simple. For the money, it is a no brainer. It does many things and most of them (from the half dozen I have attempted) it does them extremely well. By far the best bang for the dollar (especially when you can pay more for a simple bench nowadays).

    Starting to see the review top up. It looks better in the wild that I thought it would be. I am thinking it would really be cool on a stand alone post or wing where you could leave it set up or mostly set up all the time.

    I want The Isolator but based off the other reviews I've seen, i want to wait until they get the isolator 2.0. I'm not saying they are making one, or will ever make one but some of the concerns people have lodged will require updates and modifications.
    Also the shipping cost is painful.

    Ok so can i do leg exercises, arm curls and seal rows wothout having to adjust throlley up or down?? Also are hip thrust good on isolator or not really ? On video they look good but I don't know how good they work in reall life🙄 Goat looks great on video but when I tried to do hip thrust with it did not like it at all, It feels awkward:(

    Will this replace a stand alone pull down machine,? I am waiting for my isolator but also thinking about dropping in my standalone rhino in a 6 post rack and add a surplus system for lat pull downs. I am not sure yet though. I currently have a stand alone selectorized lat pull down machine that I like a lot. So I don't know if I wanna get rid of it. I just wanna make some space in my home gym.

    • @CurlsintheRack
      @CurlsintheRack  Рік тому

      It will function as a pull down/ up machine, just keep in mind that the range of motion will be less and you have to spend a little time adjusting it up and down the rack

    It is so hard for me to see. I founded my own version last year and built my own prototype myself. But then found out there is already a similar thing on the market... The isolator is really great. My version is not the exact same of course but I already have seen the dollars 😂😂

    In terms of installation, the pins are placed into the Sides? So for my uprights , I would need to order the 5/8. Correct ?

    • @CurlsintheRack

      Yes get the 5/8th version that comes with extra attachable plates for each side, then if you would rather mount on the other side, just remove them and you will have the 1in holes you can use.

      idk who this guy is who commented, but he kinda sounds like he's the rich polish guy who invented all the Tytax machines...though if he is I don't know why he wouldn't take the opportunity to plug them. They do look cool, but very big and expensive. Look on UA-cam for the "Tytax S7" and watch the video demonstration and you can see main mechanism of the machine is essentially the same as the bulletproof isolator.

    • @heffbaseball8083

      @@brianmccrum299 I’m Not that guy. The tytax S7 is ridiculous. Dumbest design. . My machine is by far better than anything out there. I would love to show it but it would be stolen. I also built the worlds first individual separate handle smith machine that the uprights adjust to and angle and the handles do also. That was in 1994. Still use it every chest workout. Best chest machine ever made if I may say so myself.
