I have to tell you that I love this product. This is my first time using Cake Lace but I have tried a few other brands and they were so much harder to use. This worked perfectly! Followed your instructions (the same as in the package) and everything came out just like you showed. Thank you for your instruction and showing us how to use this incredible product.
The problem I have encountered when it is mixed on HIGH is the finished product ends up with a million tiny air bubbles in it... something you definitely do not want.
Angie Smith Hi Angie. Unfortunately, these are not my products, just things I like to use :) On your question about the lace... I'm not quite sure I understand what you're trying to do. Do you mean fruitcake? In which case, the cake lace needs to be taken out of the mold before applying it to a cake as it's quite delicate and tricky to release from the mold.

I'm not sure. I haven't tried that before. If you do want to try coloring it, make sure you use a concentrated gel color, so you won't need to add lots.
