Hi I enjoy watching your videos...Thank you for this tutorial and the recipe...I have tried other cake lace recipes before but the results weren't so great...but I tried yours and my lace came out really nice...Thanks again for sharing your skills and knowledge.
@@sandrascakecreations1297 Hi Sandra yes you can....you can place the lace in parchment paper and wrap it up and store it in an air tight container, or even a box with a cover or ziplock bag until your ready to use it.
Please tell me what you dusted on tge back of the lace before applying it to tge cake?! Also did you use water to make the sides stick ? Thank you and nice job. Can’t wait to try it.
I had problems with the large lace molds so I ended up cutting my mat in sections and it worked out better. I'm going to try your recipe for lace. I need something less expensive. I love your cake really beautiful.
Hi, i am shanika from sri lanka. I like your recipe. For edible lace its very hard to find meringue powder here. So can you suggest a substitute please. Thank you.
J’aimerais savoir ce que tu ajoutes sur la dentelles avant de la poser sur le gateaux, est ce qu’elle ne va pas fondre si le gâteux est pour le lendemain. Merci beaucoup
Hi Liliana, thank you for your video that was awesome. I just bought this lace mould. Could you please confirm for me the size of your tablespoon. It looks like it’s = to 3 teaspoons. In Australia a tablespoon has 4 teaspoons, so it could through out the whole mix. An important clarification for us… thanks. Karen ☺️💜
Hi! I would love to try this, but what if there’s no available Meringue powder and corn syrup in my area? what can I substitute in order to successfully make this edible lace?

Hi! This cake is very beautiful, as all your cakes are 🥰 I was wondering, does the lace melt on the buttercream after a few hours or even a day? Thanks in advance!
Can you paint edible lace? Also does it stand well enough to fold maybe to make a bow? Also will this lace stand up if the cake is put in the fridge? How long does edible lace last?
Hola Liliana un saludo desde pereira Colombia Soy nueva suscriptora me encanta lo que he visto podrías por favor poner los ingredientes en español para yo hacerla muchas Gracias ☺️
Hi Liliana.. Im your new subscriber. Its please to see your work ❤️fantastic! I hv question for the temperature while put the lace.. Is it depend on each oven or this can be apply as std?..

My pleasure 😊
Hi Natoya..can I make it a few weeks before my cake? If so, do I need to store it a certain way so that it’s still pliable and won’t dry out?

Hi, Great tutorial. Please was that water you applied on the lace before attaching it to the cake ?
You can use water or piping gel to attach the cake lace x
Just dont soak it too much or it will break the lace down x
I dust my mat with small amount of cornstarch beforehand and it helps to get the lace off the mat once dried
Thanks for the recipe ❤
You dust the mold before making the lace?

Beautiful work. Where can I find that exact mat
Turntables make things so much easier. from frosting the cakes to adding decorations. they are worth their weight in gold.
Thanks for the great tutorial! When cutting the cake, does the lace cut cleanly or does it tear in the process of cutting?
Omg!!! This is stunning! Thanks for sharing!
You are so welcome! :)
Thank you so much for actually including a recipe that we can print!
Where can I find it
Se colocasse a receita em português seria maravilhoso
Just stunning. If you bake it at 170F what is the equivalent in C as our ovens in the UK are all centigrade
Approximate 90℃
Hi Liliana I am not getting meringue powder anything to replace. And do i remove when the mate is hot Or wait.
Is there a substitute for meringue powder? Tks
my
If you are going to put it on fondant do you just brush it with water? And if its going on a dummy cake can it be added a few weeks beforehand?
What are you brushing it with before adding to the cake?
Great video , can I skip meringue powder. It's hardly available in my town and country
Wow! Does the lace taste okay? It's so beautiful! Great job.
Is this suitable on ganache cake? And to be on a cake stored in the refrigerator?

Same question here!
No it will not melt on butter cream till the butter cream in a perfect temprature
It stays on as real lacey rubbery clothing, you can only tear it up.
