- Since the Aventador is gone let’s look back at what made me fall in love with this car.
Top Gear - Season 18 Episode 1
Also consider following my car page @carflixstudios more car content coming in the summer time - Авто та транспорт
If Lamborghini would present this car as new today, no one would notice it's a twelve year old design. The timeless shape is still rock solid and right from every angle. What a car, what an engine.
As they say shit was ahead of it's time. Now the designs are so wacky. I miss the simple elegance of the old designs. Especially from the huracan. The huracan Evo is just so ugly from the front only the RWD is redeemable
@@themoshpit8341 I already knew from the start. When the Aventador was released, the design was way ahead of its time and too futuristic. And in the end it will make the designers in the future painstakingly exceed the Aventador design
In fact the new revuelto , is brand new and I still feel like it looks like another aventador facelift.
The most different one but still a facelift .
They should have made soemthin more similar to the lines of the Terzo Millenio concept.
Now that looks like a futuristic car for 2023
The speed of sound
@@themoshpit8341 yeah but lamborghini still made the best out of it, its really hard to Keep making better Designs if they already made the best.
A really legendary car and three legendary hosts that will never be forgotten.
No, it shouldn't read "that" will never be forgotten, rather, it should read *who* will never be forgotten.
Jeremy Clarkson
Richard Hammond and
James May
I'm gonna miss the Aventador when it's gone.
Occasion market is still here
And then there’s ebay
Also it’s already gone
Where's it going,
@@AverageAlien this is the end for the aventador model, end of production. Time for the next one.

I'm so glad that Clarkson was somewhat proven wrong. We still have the V12 but now it's hybridised. But It's still naturally aspirated.
True
BTW:Emission regulations are nonsense. What is the point of restricting cars which goes like 1000 km in year?
@@user-ym5mw8ft6d there really should be caveats for cars like this, if they feel the need put an extra tax on it or something on top of the extra tax they already pay, I mean the people who can afford an Aventador can afford the extra taxes. But preventing masterpieces like this from being made is just sad.
@@TehCoD1KNifER15 True. Even just manufacturing any car is much more harmful for the enviroment than going 1000km/year with it.
So it wouldn't mind if that car is a N/A V12 or a hybridized, triple-turbo 0.8 litre 3cylinder , but according to the greens, doing 1k km in an Aventador is much more worse than manufacturing a Tesla(Which is much more worse for the enviroment)
@@TehCoD1KNifER15 BTW Even BMW said that it's much more eco-friendly to repair an old car and using it than making a new one and that's why they will stat the second-hand market.
We need more of this dude. You can do every one of the special’s cars, possibly the sports lorry first
I’ll see what I can do with the copyright issues
RIP to one of the most iconic v12 cars and sound ever
Why RIP? There are plenty around, and they will raise in price soon.
Why rip? They will keep the 6.5l V12 even after Aventador👌
@@niemilau01But they’re not keeping the aventador itself.
Leak from Italy say the next “aventador” probably have a v12 with a electric help
@@niemilau01 its not the v12 scream we know, with turbos its not the same anymore like we love
The exhaust, the flames, the sound...just...wow. It's a shame that such masterpieces will disapear. Need to buy one of the latest and keep for the posterity.
OH MY GOD! This editing was magnificent! Truly captured the best parts of the Aventador in this trip. And a major nostalgia trip to the good days when this episode aired and the show was in its prime.
Jeremy is best presenter ever. From 2:00 to 2:30 I felt like I was in that lambo with Clarkson. No one else can make you feel that way.
editing really helps
@@dutcharest9731 it really is 95% editing
Worst ever!
@@NateR777well every presenter is edited, but he still is the most engaging of all
2:22 to 2:34 is literally the sound of death when you're going that speed. One wrong move. And you're dead. Huge props to these great drivers
I used to work at a Mclaren/Lamborghini/Aston Martin dealership. I drove every model. The Aventador was by far the best car with the huracan performante following closely after that. There is nothing like a Lamborghini
Why'd you quit?
@@beenthemantv That's what happens when you're the janitor and you're driving around in the client's car. Oh well, I guess it was worth it.
@@anarki_in5680 That's a lot of misplaced anger.
I am considering doing something similiar. I am curious why Mr. Bardsley left the industry is all. Still would like to know.
@@beenthemantv it was a joke…

Im fortunate enough to own one, an SV. It's this exciting everywhere i go. The theatre, the noise, the ultimate supercar
what business should i start. what did you do? i want to make my family proud
Congratulations bro. What did you do to get one?
the blue stuff coming out from the exhaust is just beautiful with the sound..
I think his Imola lap is underrated in the episode, 2.5 seconds off a Stig in a 458 is very good.
This guy can make you fall in love with a twingo
FANTASTIC edit you've done here! Well done 🙌🙌🙌
Truely timeless machine - will live and stay forever in our hearts. R.I.P.
what I like about this Chanel is that, it's give off a sense of old new version of exploring car's ☺️
It’s the nostalgia but also the trio don’t have much content being put out anymore and I want to bring it back for ppl like me that grew up watching these guys
Has to be said they did an excellent job capturing the feeling of speed when he was on the ring.
There is something in the Naturally Aspirated V12 engine sound that make you smile.
The best sound in existence!
The Tron music fits so beautifully over the last sequence!
One of their best episodes ever!
No matter all the other super cars that have been built the Aventador is the most beautiful and stealthy of them all in my opion ! It may be aging but I would never say no to having one, evan just to admire it looks and that Lambo sound.
That final clip on imola with the flames gives me goosebumps to this day
Ohh, that roaring sound of the V12 - epic!!!
Ah man, this is my childhood car as a kid, I remember watching the original trailer for this beast of a car.Sad that it’s gone now,it have served us good. Now for the Revuelto to make us proud, just like it was 12 years ago 🔥🔥🔥🔊🔊🔊🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹
The sound of a Lambo at full scream is so sweeeeet!
Aventador ✨💙✨
Love those exhaust flames!
The most aggresive I've ever seen Jeremy what a video !
The front design of SV was iconic...miss that in new lambos
What a fantastic edit of a video! Nice one lad! 😎
moments in the tunnel was so pure joy
Such a beast of a car
Miss the old top gear
Probably the most iconic car in my lifetime since 2001, besides the R35 GTR
And the Veyron

LEGENDARY
Crazy just crazy fast
A timeless piece of engineering
The Aventador is such a beast.
Experiencing Lamborghini cars is like experiencing masterpiece creations by Leonardo Da Vinci...live. I wish Lamborghini makes more eco friendly cars in future, I think world deserves that.
say what you want but the noble m600 will forever be my dream car, 4.4L tt v8 pushing almost 700hp absolutley insane
great video 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
3:07 Jeremy's inner child coming out
I'd kill to be in the old top gear cast. Trying new cars and supercars whenever I had the chance would fulfill my life
.... And I Love Jeremy, James and Richard 🇬🇧❤️
The sound that wakes the city
Aventador casually spitting fire like no one‘s business
this episode was one of my favourites
This episode made this car so popular this was before social media existed
love it! amazing car ... funny video ...
What a great sound!!! I'm proud to be ITALIAN 💚🤍❤️

Just bought my v12 aventodor in a nice midnight purple wrap so far so good
How do you guys make this much money
No need to lie.
Sound on that v12 wow go on Clarkson
For the soundtrack in the tunnel I'd say pagani R is THE BEST sound by a mile
Italian style 😎🇮🇹
Now I know what my grandparents felt when they said the phrase, nothing like the old days
Him clapping his hands in the tunnel 😭😂
That's it I'm getting one 😉.
Man I miss the top gear show with Jeremy Clarkson
In the last couple years I’ve rented Aventadors twice. They are absolutely sickeningly powerful.
That coming from a guy who currently owns a 1997 viper. And I’ve driven circle track race cars for years.
Aventadors are ridiculous. There are no words.
From a guy that will probably never get the chance to drive one, what makes the Lambo special? What did you like most?
@@andrewwebster7185 what’s the fastest car you’ve driven?
@@andrewwebster7185
In a regular car you hit wide open throttle and you sit there and wait and watch while the car accelerates. Some cars make cool noises while doing it. Some cars are a bit faster than others but basically this description is true.
In the circle track race cars I’ve driven, it’s all about manipulating the car through the turns at maximum speed; right on the edge of losing control and spinning out (literally). There’s no shifting; it always stays in top gear, and therefore at the slowest point you’re in mid-turn and the engine is at 4,000 to 4,500rpm. So then you get a good strong acceleration on the straightaway from 4500rpm up to redline which is at the very moment you have to slow down and turn left. It’s a very strong acceleration but the whole art form of driving a circle track race car really does remove a lot of the ‘car fun’ that you’d expect. The competition is the fun part.
Accelerating in my Viper; it impresses you while you sit and wait (for it to accelerate up through the tachometer). Rowing through the gears as fast or slow as you choose. It has torque in any gear at any speed. The speedometer climbs much faster than expected, and other cars on the road quickly become obstacles that you have to navigate.
It takes a few seconds for the Viper to accelerate through each gear; from whatever RPM up to redline.
The sickening power (of the Aventador) is out of this world. I did multiple 0-60 and 0-100 runs. Also many from rolling speeds: highway speeds accelerating to 100+
The Lamborghini there is no ‘sit and wait’ because it’s just… ridiculous. It feels like 1.5 seconds for the tachometer to sweep up through each gear.
It accelerates with so much fury that you can only think “sweet shit I hope I can keep control of this”.
In no time flat you just gained 50-60 mph, and passing other cars feels as easy as if you jumped off a building and watched each floor of windows disappear behind you.
Earlier in this paragraph I used the word fury- and that really is the best word. I’ve tried to think of good descriptive words for describing the Aventador experience and writing this post is the best I’ve ever done.
The acceleration is furious.
And relentless: have you ever felt or noticed the acceleration of a passenger jet on the runway taking off? And you notice that, while it does take 20-30 seconds, but it seems like the supply of thrust is surprisingly endless. I always feel like “How can this HUGE jet airliner accelerate so briskly for 30 seconds?? It should be ‘all out’ and ready to steady cruise any second now”. I notice that every time I fly. Its acceleration feels relentless.
The Aventador is relentlessly furious. The ferocity feels like it would get up to 200mph and feel like it’s barely getting started: ready for 300.
I guess I’ll stop writing now :)
It’s very cool to see a lambo on the road. I have seen 5 lambos so far, a very great sight to see. Problem is, not everyone can own them lol. If you see a lambo somewhere sitting, ask the owner if you can take some pictures, because it might be the last time you see it. Awesome cars, powerful engines, great style. Wish I could own one… haha 😆 Just kidding. Don’t mind me. 😊
I've forgotten how insane the Noble M600 is.
One day ima own that car in that beautiful orange
Honestly this Aventador V12 engine is a masterpiece, a glorious proper engine gonna miss this pure engine 😢😢😢
For ever LEXUS LFA YOU SAID IT
Top Gear fantastisch auf Nitro ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️für mich der Lambo Nr 1
I’m so excited for the aventador successor, dct v12 + electric motors so atleast a thousand horse power
When Jeremy reviews and pass good comments, you wants to buy that car.
Looks way way better than the new reveulto
Nothing like a naturally aspirated v12
Who is this guy? He’s better than most youtube vloggers out there! Should start a channel!
Best car in forza motorsport 4 ❤
Great White Shark why same is still cool ❤
I would lose my licence if I had a car like that.
What is this track name they are driving on ?
Clarkson rocks
Bellisama Lamborghini ❤🙏💪 if only I owned one 😭😭😭
It’s a shame, Hammond isn’t here to enjoy 😂
Only 2000 rpm sounds gnarly...
4:15 bro that’s Tron legacy soundtrack music was that on the show or did u add it on
Was probably on the UK broadcast, they always had decent soundtracks added in background. You can actually Google it and see the tunes they used on each episode on tunefind
It's show music. UA-cam uploads on the Top Gear channel replace a lot of the tracks due to licensing limitations.
tron legacy soundtrack goes hard with the aventador not gonna lie!
1:55 when you open out your 1.0 shitbox on the motorway 😂
Mad to think how old it is now
Better than fast n furious saga
Sometimes I like to look at car's I can't afford
Now that thr Revuelto has come out and it still has a V12 i wonder what Jeremy has to say?!! 🤔🤔🤔
