You really captured the sound of that engine. I liked how you said it didn’t have the roll of the Lexus LS. Ha ha. It’s perfect for what it is, a great rally car with exceptional handling and loads of fun. I love that hood scoop. No need for much of an arm rest as your hands are busy on the steering wheel and the gear shift. Not for me, but your review makes it look like so much fun. Great job.
Yea it's not my cup of tea either haha but yea def something for everyone it does hold value like crazy so I guess that's great for people who love to pile on the miles
I bought a 1991 Subaru Lx Station Wagon for my wife back in the day and dude it was a phenomenal car, in the two years or so we owned it I never put a spanner to it it was flawless and the thing stuck to the road like glue due to the Subaru Symmetrical AWD and it was quicker than my V6 Mazda 929
Epic, yea I bet a 90s Subaru was incredible for sure I completely understand the following Subbys have. One of the most obtainable cars for normal people that are truly capable. I would like to try out a few more of these cars. Thanks for sharing
I had the original 2002 WRX. When this came out, I looked into getting one but dealers were charging $10k over MSRP. For a kid out of college, just couldn’t afford it it. For the time, it was a beast. Handling was stupid good. Interior was cheap. Clutch wasn’t great. And that boxer exhaust music, it’s so distinct. I couldn’t get one now because you can’t fit 3 cars seats in it but I’d love to have one for a weekender. Then again, for the current gen pricing, I’d rather have a Veloster N.
That is awesome loved that year of WRX. Not surprised dealers were charging over sticker for it like Honda did with the Type R but still bothers me because these are supposed to be the somewhat affordable dailys for normal people. Really want to try the Veloster N for sure! Thanks again sir
@@omarquezada8115 could you tell us what you paid? With the used car market being so bonkers, it feels like prices are everywhere. I almost bought a new 2021 WRX Premium at MSRP, but really want to save a few bucks and get something used -- the issue is that the used ones are priced as high as a new car!
I bought a 2015 STI limited brand new and still have the car with 90k miles on it. And what it once was my dream car it turned out to be a nightmare with all the problems it's had throughout these years... Right now is sitting in my garage collecting dust... Good car but not worth the 40k I once paid for it....
Exhaust Sports Auto absolutely especially true when I look at the Lancer Evo’s rarely I see them stock so many of them are heavily modified. Btw if you get a chance I hope you get a chance to review the Infiniti Q50 3.0T silver version or Red Sport 400.
Exhaust Sports Auto awesome looking forward to that one I’ve been eyeing on them and watching there prices and overall common issues with these cars. I’d love to see your perspectives on this car that I feel gets unfairly bashed on but yet people are getting these on used car market.
I've never driven an EVO but the EVO never got updated to this point so moving forward this generation WRX would be superior but I've always loved the looks of the EVO still looks great today

Exhaust Sports Auto Lol facts bro

I’m getting one of these, absolutely can not wait!
G37, IS350, WRX wagon, Mazda3 wagon, and GTI would be my Top 5 to look at for fun daily drivers... these (WRX/STI) live a hard, hard life
Lol this is true

Car sold fast! Nice. I love my 2019 STI
Haha yea I knew that wouldn't last long Subarus never do that's why I went and grabbed it before they even detailed it
Exhaust Sports Auto exactly. My Subaru dealer can’t keep them in the lot. I bought my 2019 new and it’s awesome...
Glad to see this review Kevin. I really like this Subaru WRX and the sound is superb.
Thanks again! And yea I have been wanting yo try one for a while now. Glad you appreciated it my friend!
@@MeynMotorGroup I did Kevin!
Add a tune and an intake and it will be slightly more fun but mostly the turbo spool will be minty
I own one a 2019 STI. Fun car to drive especially in the winters.
Oh I bet this thing tears up winters lol enjoy my friend awesome ride
"It's almost 5:00 so there's a lot of idiots on the road today"
Love the matter-of-fact non-chalantness of this statement 🤣🤣🤣
I'm glad you enjoyed that haha
Got one😊 70k miles and still running strong .. 1 of 1000 made
Heck yea!
Hows it doing now? Have you owned any other Subies? One at a local dealer just showed up with 30k on it 🤔🤔
Still running good , yes I’ve own 2 subies before , 30k miles they might be asking a lot for it right ?

I paid 26k in 2019
Dude what a sick car, never drove one but it would be a blast !
It's a cool ride for sure!
I just bought one and I love it

Man that sucks sorry to hear it
300hp is all you on the street or track. Look at the NSX, GTR, RX7, ect. Handling, chassis, and braking are more important.
Correct exactly
Its these type of cars that are worth keeping stock other than basic bolt ons.
Yea I agree with that for sure basic bolt ons should be fine but when people start tuning these for ridiculous power, that's when the problems start
Exhaust Sports Auto absolutely especially true when I look at the Lancer Evo’s rarely I see them stock so many of them are heavily modified.

@@iheartgs400 Yes def! I really want to review an Infiniti red sport or at least a regular Q50
Exhaust Sports Auto awesome looking forward to that one I’ve been eyeing on them and watching there prices and overall common issues with these cars. I’d love to see your perspectives on this car that I feel gets unfairly bashed on but yet people are getting these on used car market.
The car is cool sans the big tail.. Hard to take seriously with that on there.
It was fun watching you drive it though.
Lol yes I know it is a bit juvenile but I guess that's just the WRX STI look. I believe the regular WRX does not have this large wing
Great review as always. See if you can review 2nd gen Lexus is
Will definitely try too thanks again!
27k with 30k miles...that seems like a great price. 3k more than a new accord. If I had the $ I'd be all over this
Yea I would consider it if I drove a lot even though its not the most refined car
I’m about to test drive one going for 29k on 75k miles. I’m thinking about asking for a decent discount
Or maybe it will not work😖
@@biyachevstefan did you pick it up? Just curious what you got it at if you did get it

Would you pick this or an evo tho???
