Oh man, this level was a huge pain in the ass for me. Everything looks scummy and dirty, even when completely clean, not to mention it's like the mess of a large level was condensed into a small level.
I still have nightmares about this level. Low lighting and reflective surfaces make it so difficult to see the contamination. Especially the alien blood.
Biggest pain for me on this level was exploding bodies of aliens and humans whenever you grab one of their limbs. Mega narrow tunnel in that T-Intersection made me throw all boxes and barrels into incinerator so I can get at least a little bit more space.
I hate that they force you to walk through the gore in this one to get the biohazard bins to the upstairs part by the bucket dispenser. And those goddamn tentacles that don't fit in the incinerator that you have to drag across the floor and get green shit everywhere. The devs do not want you to do well in VCD.
You can make the tentacles into little meatballs with the zappy zappy welder machine. Other than that, this level is a pain in the ass and is kills me inside. 97% with 1:48:32 as my time 😭
@@appleglassjuice11 Yep, since I posted that I learned you can essentially cauterize entire bodies and those big tentacles into blood-free "soccer balls" as I call them. They even fit in the bins better that way. Also since I posted this I completed Penumbra... the less said about that level the better.
