I've been driving a Super /Q4 Stelio for 4 months- this is a massively underrated car, The whole car has an appeal which many cars will never have- Buy one without hesitation
The best comment I ve read. They try to betray and ruin the Alfas. This is german marketing. We owned an alfa 147 17 yrs ago when it was released and that car was incredible. The interior and building quality ,the driving and the feeling of it was super incredible. Much better than any german car. Much better than a mercedes e class or BMW 5 from 2003.

Great to see all the new 2020 upgrades including touchscreen infotainment and new center console. Other than than that these machines are near perfection. Just go drive one. Amazing drivers machine. Still love my 18 Stelvio quad.
I have seen my first 2019 Alfa Romeo Stelvio in person and it was at my local grocery store in WV, USA. I believe it was a Q4 Ti trim. Thanks for the video Autogefühl team!
1st! Drove an 18 for 1 year. Loved it. Quiet solid, very quick, handled like it was on rails. Would have another but the lease rate went up.🤔😟😟. If you end an SUV but want to drive a sports car, this is your vehicle. However, make sure there is a dealer near you.
Great review and test! I own a Stelvio and it reflects exactly my experience! It is a great car to drive and I had no technical issues in the 18 months I used it! Next thing Alfa needs to consider is to produce a hybrid or electrical version. Current changes in fiscal law will make it a must for business users!
Good review Brian. Love your enthusiasm. If I were to be able to buy the Stelvio, I would have it in pearl white ( to emphasize the muscles) with gloss black trim line, the typical Alfa rims and black / ice interior with a sun roof. The 280 hp is more than enough power, even the 200 hp (petrol of course) is sufficient. At least in the Flemish countryside where I live.
In my opinion, it looks timeless, those curvy clean forms. Love it. I am rooting for Alfa, but man... That kind of interior quality does not stands up for todays standard.. I wish they could tweek their interior quality, and update the ligths to LED, the screen resolution, interior quality (gear shifter, knobs) etc. The analog instruments with the digital display. THE BEST 2 in 1 imo and looks stunning.

Booked an X5 for Skiing holiday over Christmas in Austria for two adults and two late teen boys and luggage, purely as it was the roomiest on offer. Not available at arrival at car rental desk. Equivalent was shown to us and it was an Alpha Stelvio. Couldn't fit more than two of the five soft bags full of winter/ski gear in the rear. Had to hand the keys back and found a last minute Grand Cherokee instead. Room to spare! Got my money back when l pointed out the Alpha would be the equivalent to an X3. Certainly not an X5! Then put them in a Thunderdome. ;P Awesome review Thomas err I mean Brian!!! I'm not sure this car knocks off the X3 M sport in any way. It just falls short in too many departments.
Is this B-tech spec the same as the ‘Nero Edizione’ in the UK? I’m tempted as an alternative to X3 or GLC and can overlook the lower interior quality issues in return for the current 5-3-5 warranty/servicing/roadside UK offer. Problem is, even living in SE England and driving a mix of roads and routes every week, I’ve still not seen one on the road. I did see one on a car ferry sailing past in Venice the other week though.

There is hardly any manufacturer who is using animal skin on the door parts or on the outside of the seats - gladly, that's mostly leatherette already today. Still there remains too much animal skin use on the main inner seat parts.

Touch screens should be banned. They're a distraction when driving and the last thing I want is to look at a screen full of greasy finger marks. There's a reason they don't make touch screen TV's!
Typical FCA if you look at Dodge, Ram or Chrysler with these additional minor updates or new versions. One major factor that FCA is styled and runned by American not European. A European would have updated the cabin. But great seeing Alfa back with 'new' stuff.
I'm glad its not a touch screen, I absolutely hate them. They should be banned as they're simply dangerous to use on the move. Aside from that why would you want to look at a screen full of greasy finger marks?

Xenon lights in 2020. Brian, if I am correct you were responsible for the entire video about VAGs advanced LED lights. and you still don't a difference between LEDs with the capability of casting shadows on cars and signs and regular xenon lights? really?
@@autogefuehl that you really should expect a full led, and even 'active LEDs' in a car with on the road price of 45k GBP. it's not 'we don't have kick open trunk, but we don't need it', you can live without it, you can live without seat massage or 360deg camera. but ignoring full LEDs? it's like saying 'this car is for driver, so we don't install cruise control, to give you an opportunity to control the car in 100%' it's BS.
Yes indeed Alfa is lagging behind in offering full LED lamps, same for the Giulia. Adaptive Bi-Xenon is maximum. However - you also have to say that LED is not the holy grail. If you take a look at the real lighting power of lamps, it is not that LED always leads the other technologies. There are cars with weak LED which actually perform _worse_ than others with Xenon! In fact, you would need the exact lux / lx numbers for each headlight to really compare. But those are super hard to get from the manufacturers.
@@autogefuehl yes indeed, you are absolutely correct! However while I am driving on twisted B class British country road, I dont need to see 1mile upfront like with laser lights (did I made up this distance?) what I need is to see as far as I can, with a beam of light as wide as possible, without constant changes of brightes from hi- to low- beam (because that also forces your eyes to adapt to new condition). After driving new generation of cars (as my company rules force me to rent a car for every business trip) I cannot imagine to buy a new car without matrix/adaptive shadow/active leds technology. its a game changer for me.
