Can you imagine being in the same room with these guys when they are writing a song. I heard their warmup earlier this year in concert, and Im not even kidding. It was one of the coolest things I've ever seen. And it was just the warmup!

He's one of the nicest people I've spoken to on this show. A class act all the way.

Maynard said it’s “the sick joke of music” on Rogan.

Wait he knew it's the 16th fibonacci number? Lmao that's nuts

No he didn't, he says the fan told him 987 is after he'd composed it ad/post hoc, which is wrong anyway as 9 - 8 - 7/8 don't add up to 987 they add up to 24, last I checked 24 is not a Fibonacci number. Don't try dividing the bars into factors of those numbers as the factors of those numbers also don't add up to 987 either

Lateralus, write 1 to 13 on a piece of paper, in a straight line.. in the middle of the numbers, that's 6 and 7, draw a spiral, with each line passing through the Numbers.. starting from 6, looping through 7, then passing through 5, and so on.. That's the correct track listing, weather they intended it or not. Mana has a mind of its own...

How can he take credit for the Fibonacci thing when he admitted he didn't come up with and wasn't articulated until ad/post hoc? 'Bullshit artist' they should call them. I have a huge gripe about this because it's a total false hood and myself being a polymath composer that does go into this detail grinds my .... Absolutely coincidental, we even studied this in my number and processe class for uni at Sydney Conservatorium and went in detail about how bullshit lateralis is and went on to study Stockhausen and others who actually have sonified the golden mean, hell I've done it twice, if anyone wants to know what it actually sounds like it's the composition on my channel with the Arabic title. Fuck tool, if i were him/them I'd feel guilty about lying, goes to show the correlation between 'artistry' and narcissism/sociopathy/psychopathy. If you don't agree you need to get your ears checked cause the dude just admitted he didn't even come up with it, the fan did ad hoc.

@@masterpage69420 I did?! That's why you're saying I'm stuck up?! Because I contest his/their/your claims regarding the topic?! 9/8 8/8 and 7/8 do not add up to 978 it adds up to 24, it doesn't matter what factor of the stated values are as that's not how the golden mean works as it's a logarithm. Also the song starting at 1:12 thing, 1:12 is not a sequence of 1 - 1 - 2 it's 72, last I checked 72 isn't a Fibonacci number (it's a golden angle, but only in base 12). I'm not making up spiritual hippie bullshit that I sell to dead heads for my financial betterment at the detriment of the consumer, I once saw Maynard on Joe Rogan saying that "down syndrome people's faces don't conform to the golden mean" as he went on to say that's how you can tell they're 'unnatural', this wacky shit can get out of hand really quick. Who's really the stuck up one? The guy who says "bullshit" or the guys that lie about their music and are defensive when other people say it sucks and then try to dehumanise their critics because they said a song they like is stupid
