Food can trigger, but I personally think hormones is a (the) bigger cause when it comes to acne, rosaceae etc. Two years ago I hade perfect skin, I am using the exact same products (tretinoin, c vitamin, and a bunch of good serums) now as then, I am eating the same food (very healthy, no sugar and no fast carbs) and my skin is now having breakouts, No matter what I do, typically it's by the jawbone on both sides, as Julia Hunter mentioned is hormone related. I am in menopaus and gonna try getting bioidentical hormones, because this sucks. I think when a teenager, it's all related to hormones and not so much the food they are eating, they are young with a healthy system and should not get inflamations in body that easily.
