Why did the Rolling Stones pick San Bernardino for their first ever USA concert? They were lied to!

This is one of those urban legends many of have heard but wonder if its true. The legend is that The Rolling Stones played their very first concert in the USA at the Swing Auditorium in San Bernardino in 1964.
This not a myth, it is 100% TRUE.

Former K/MEN 129 DJ and program director Bill Watson recounted the whole story to Commander Chuck Street over 12 years ago in a video Chuck produced and hosted about K/MEN, and up until now, the recording, except for Chucks friends, has never been seen. Bill Watson was the person who put the whole thing together along with concert promoter Bob Lewis.
I doubt many would dispute that this was the biggest concert every played in the Inland Empire.
