MPC should powered all the time and there are two ways to renew/change the battery 1-Turn multicolor RED dip switch from ON side to OFF side ,remove old battery and insert new battery after that put RED dip switch to ON. 2-Second way directly you can remove the old battery and LED indication on MPC will lit up red and you will get alarm on MOP monitor after inserting new battery the LED will blink orange continuously later few second it will turn to green LED after that you can reset the alarm from MOP. But it would suggest to follow you first way for battery renewal/change. Thank you
Nice
Nice video
Originally the MPC is equiped with BR-2032, is more expensive, but more last longingly then CR type
Before to change backup battery is need to turnoff power on MPC 24V?
Read the manual it's enough
need to be powered, after that you can replace battery, is that corect?
MPC is powered by 24V DC supply and the backup battery provides back up power for clock frequency when 24v DC off due to any circumstances
