@@MaxKharevsky the discussion you intend to have is such I can't explain in this platform. We had to discuss with signal transmission and cylinder lubricator drawing. You can ping me in my channel number. Can discuss in whatsapp
I see on MOP, that D signal going to Alpha Lubricator solenoid valve😮 ( so on/ off control, binary signal) , but I thought it should be analog signal, proportion solenoid controls proportional valve etc, because in this way I don't understand how Alpha Lubricator changes feed rate? If usual solenoid controls power piston , so power piston has only two positions on and off, so I don't understand 😕, can you explain?
I have a question, if the solenoid itself is defective, but the CCU is fine. Then what action you will take ? And how you will make out that the CCU Is defective or the solenoid is defective?
@@parthasdasguptaIn an emcy situation : solenoid can be replaced by a spare if you doubt it. MPC fault can be identified by doing function testing and . Refresh mop and take a CCU export and send SPAF file to tech supt and he will send to MAN. Mostly they are quick in responding. And most probably , the issue would be faulty signal transmission due to vibration the cables loosing firmness. ( In most of the cases which I faced)
Why cylinder oil alpha lubricator is used for lubrication if lube oil is already supplied by LO pumps, Also if both are there, then how it's prevented from intermixing.
@@bt9604 advantage in alpha lubricator systems is cylinder lub oil consumption is less compared to mechanical lubricators. Mixing of servo oil can happen not only lubricator block but also in fuel booster. Which is why in me engines if you see lubricator and fuel booster drawings sealing rings are provided to avoid contamination of servo oil.
Sir. Thank you for all the videos! Much respect! 🙏🙏🙏🙏

very raw practically lucid explanation which is very much needed for a person like me...thumbs up..vaaazhthukkal...

You said it is having the proportional, how possible if signal is digital, binary, voltage signal...
You mentioned about stroke of cylinder Lubricator..., but how, how Alpha Lubricator changes the stroke of power piston?

@@Newagemarineacademy ok, but LO pumps are there for PCO, I'm confused about their difference, I'm from non tech background, just curious
Sir I have one doubt
stroke is adjusted or frequency of feed is adjusted
hi...our job is to increase or decrease the basic feed rate setting in mop. Accordingly the stroke shall be adjusted automatically.
very useful

Thanks

I am new in this video. but do have the drawing
Hi warm regards. 👍👍
Sir explain running in feed rate
Hi... For ME engines kindly go by service letter SL2023-737 . Feed rate varies as per type of fuel & tbn value that is in use.
i am familiar with this maneuver
