- Replacing the Lower control arm on the Can Am X3 XRS actually turned out to be an enjoyable experience. While we were at it we also added gusset plates from Baja Kits to prevent any damage to the bulk head in the future. We also added Baja kits Radius Tie Rod Arms as well. Main reason I go with them with all my parts is Doug. I definitely appreciate his choice of parts and design of cage builds.
Florence is very nice. Make sure to do some trails and beach driving! Also razor backs (hills that are straight down on one side and you can’t tell) are everywhere and they will hurt you and destroy your machine.
Doug at SXSBlogs is a great mechanic.
Smart putting a gusset on the front end.That won't be the last upgrade you do. All of the stock gussets will bend and wallow out from wear alone. Get an aftermarket bulkhead, rear plate and toe link support. Then add a shock tower brace to the menu and your frame should be rigid enough to start buying the fun stuff!
you should look at that guesset kit. i think you have the front one on wrong... it goes to the back lower control arms bolts. thats why the bottom of the guesset has a spot to go over the bar. opps i just finished the video. Good job guys keep up the good work.

Unfortunately those stock lower control arms are really weak. If you are watching this video because you bent a lower control arm, please consider upgrading this weak link. There are several after market options. The dual shear gusset kit Maxx shows are a must have mod though

Oh it's doing much better now, thanks for asking. I re-injured it in Mexico last year in November and I didnt get the proper treatment right way so I had some complications with that but other wise it's doing well. Glad to have you back!
