- Together with the British Embassy in the United States, Washington National Cathedral is honored to host a Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
The private service is invitation-only, but the public is invited to join the livestream.

Glorious service - National Cathedral is a credit to the Episcopal Church, the Anglican Communion, the broader Christian community, and all Americans of any or of no faith by so ably conducting memorials and commemorations for our nation. May light perpetual shine upon Her Majesty, and blessings to King Charles III, the people of Great Britain, and of the Commonwealth.
National Cathedral serves as a bright light in the world. What a glorious service of Thanksgiving. Queen Elizabeth II was much loved around the world. Requiescat in pace! Lux perpetua luceat ei. Credit and thanks to all musicians and all who took part in this service.
Thank you very much Bishop Curry for the Word of encouragement, and Blessing as we remember the 70years of Reign in mourning our Late Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth the second. I have listened this in remembrance of her this 8th day of September, 2023 her first year Anniversary. I give thanks to God for her life and legacy that she left behind for us to follow. May the good Lord bless you and all who participated in this glorious wonderful service. Thank you. Word to take home “Love God, Love Neighbour and Love Self”. God bless you all. May she continue to rest in peace and rise in glory. God Save the King.

Praise and thanksgiving to God for His daughter/servant Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. In May 1991, I was privileged and honored to attend/be present in the United States House of Representatives Chamber when Queen Elizabeth II addressed the Joint Session of Congress. God Bless King Charles III and all the Royal Family forever! Lord, bring healing to all who mourn Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

It was good to hear from the Ambassador how much the Queen admired the late Justice Ginsburg, taking the unusual step of accepting an award named after her although it was a non state award.

+ Michael Curry is a persuasive preacher at the parish level. However, in his role as Presiding Bishop he seems totally unable to contain his egomaniacal impulses, whereby he hijacks whatever the context might be and proceeds to make it all about himself, alongside his incontinent amateur theatrics and comedic pretensions. Sadly, this was not an occasion for his ill-judged and frankly embarrassing excesses. Aside from Curry, this was a wonderful tribute to The Queen in a magnificent setting - the musicianship impeccable.

Chill out and show respect. This was a good service. Sure the preacher went a bit rambling in spots but his message had a point. He was trying to tie in what the Queen's personality was to how all Christians should be towards one another. You just had to hack away the filler in the message to hear it .
What in God's name is wrong with you? Acute constipation? If you don't like the service change channels or stick your head in a bucket of ice water.
