I would've put Eruption over Water Spout. The only relevant Water Spout user is Kyogre, who isn't always legal and doesn't even always run it. By contrast, Torkoal is always legal, always relevant, and always runs Eruption.
i think water spout has had a larger effect on the meta bc of scarf kyogre. back during restricted formats with kyogre, pokemon like ludicolo and palkia were strong simply because they 4x resisted water
I still can't get my head around Gamefreak doubling down on Darkrai by decreasing the accuracy of Dark Void when Darkrai itself never had been allowed in any official tournament. Smeargle not being able to use that move would've been more than enough to get Smeargle off the scene...
It’s old accuracy WAS overkill, but they just totally shredded the thing to pieces. Even just 55 or 60 accuracy would work, it still leaves a respectable 20% or 16% chance that none of opionents will fall asleep. Anything but the 25% chance of double miss it currently has.
Not EVERY mon would prefer glaciate over icy wind, as it just crosses the technician threshold, so those mons would actually be much better off with icy wind. Although maybe glaciate works on wind rider mons? I didn't check, it would be a plus.

if i had to buff the absolute worst move razor wind it would be to remove the charge turn in tailwind or something. even then it’s just worse air cutter.

You must not have played Gen 5. It was the first decent fire type move available in those games. They started all fire types with Incinerate (30 BP in Gen 5) instead of Ember, and then came Flame Charge at 50 BP. Flame Burst was basically my savior in every Gen 5 playthrough because at 70 BP it wasn't garbage like the others. You can get an early game Victini in BW, and it kept getting its butt kicked for quite a while because the fire type moves in Gen 5 are pathetic. I like those games, but they have some serious issues.
56 would actually go crazy if on that one new mon that was part of the toxic trio, the bird one, because of the ability they have to make every move have the chance to poison. Put a multi hit move on it get the guaranteed poison then hit em with this
One thing you haven't considered is how glacial lance is a physical move, and that makes it susceptible to intimidates and burns, personally I consider this to be more relevant than the typechart, making astral barrage best in my opinion
Incinerate is actually pretty clutch, harvest strats are out the door, a thrash or outrage user is taking a big risk without a lum berry, and of the type effectiveness berries are in trouble, it has potential
I'd put Twister a little bit higher for the sole fact that Togekiss can learn it. Serene Grace bumps it up to 40% flinch rate. Paired with Thunder Wave, your opponent won't be doing a thing. Sadly not as good after fifth gen, but worth mentioning
@@sinnohperson8813 paralyzing both opponents is pretty good in doubles, so it's really not too much set up. The strategy is a bit gimmicky, but it is effective. Didn't win Worlds thankfully, but it was fairly common in DP
It has won good number of regionals too. Usually paired with bulky mons who doesn't depend on their damage outputs like gastrodon. Or hypnosis coil muddy water milotic 💀
I would’ve put diamond storm at five just because ground becomes the best offensive type with thousand arrows and terastar storm is just so strong and you can’t do anything about it
I’ll never forgive Game Freak for what they did to Darkrai. Making Dark Void 50% accurate just ruined it. Oh and for whatever reason, Gen 9 removed Thunderbolt from Darkrai’s learnset too 😭
It's a shame Venom Drench isn't in this generation... I could see a WACKY ass team with a Venom Drench user after Glimmora uses Mortal Spin. Maybe an ally is holding a Mirror Herb to have their stats lowered only to bring in Malamar and use Topsy Turvey. Am I cooking?

Dragon was supposed to be a late game defensive powerhouse while ice was late game offensive powerhouse. But over the years dragons got tons of legendaries , powerful attacks and pseudos. Ice didn't get much
