Richard Sieger Oy what a dark golus, even if we don’t see, we yearn for a complete redemption. We didn’t see the har sinai when we left mitzraiim, yet we yearned, cried out and asked to end golus. Let’s do the same.
I challenge anyone to listen to this without shedding a tear! May Hakadosh Baruch answer our Tefillot expressed in this newly remastered song speedily in our days!
Just heard this for the very first time. Thanks. If you could send Rabbi Dovi Keilson a special thanks. I'm shore he will say that it wasn't his doing. We just need to remind him who planted to seed. And really thank everybody who was involved.
Thank you so much for creating this and posting it. I have listened to it several times and each time have tears streaming down my face. May Hashem return us to our mikdashei m'at and to the Beis HaMikdash itself b'mheyra b'yameinu.
beautiful!! and heart wrenching. now for an epilogue to the Kotel song ( "I am an ancient wall of stone....") we can use that message now more than ever!
Hope this song can give you the energy you need to find that energy inside you. If you want help and ideas on how to get closer to Hashem wherever you are holding . I've been there. I was lucky enough to catch myself as I was falling. And I know how hard it is to try to find your place. But I've helped so many the fined an easier way.
@@proudamerican702 I was going to write to you earlier. I just wanted to wait till the 2day Holliday ended. If you want to thank G-d for still being alive just take on something small. Thank you so much for this beautiful song! I can't wait to share it with my family. We are all big Journeys fans and this song is so perfect for the current situation. My kids always want to understand the background and history behind the songs. Now they'll understand how each of your songs convey the true emotion behind the story.
IMPORTANT: I was just listening to “it’s what I believe” on Apple Music and I think the lyrics got hacked. The lyrics are Muslim words and it’s about praising allah. I looked up the translations. The song is still the same but when u click on the lyrics, that’s what comes up.
Beautiful! However, I do want to emphasize that the Torah scrolls will be fine on their own for now... and now is the time for no minyanim, which in the Coronavirus pandemic, is the greatest act of chesed, the highest expression of love for our families, kehillot, neighbours, friends and fellow human beings. We'll appreciate reading and holding and dancing with our Sefrei Torah when this is passed. But for now, the Torah scrolls are on vacation.
Imagine sitting in Bavel after churban bais rishon, and nebuchanezer makes some edict or decree that restricts religious liberties. What is the pain? What do we need? Back to the status quo? What we need is an end to golus and the beginning of Moshiach. Yes we need minyanim, Shuls, kollels but the purpose of Torah is to fulfill its commandments. Most mitzvos cannot be fulfilled in golus. Think deeper ask and pray for what we really need.
Wow! What an amazing song! I really enjoyed that. I just made a piano cover of it!🎶🎹 I’d really appreciate it if you could Check it out! Tell me what you think?
Great song, but I think you missed the boat. We shouldn't be crying out to return us to our shuls, but to return us to eretz yisrael with the coming of the geula. Our land is crying for us.
Hebrew Nazarite Torah remains Torah, yes of course. Would you want to fulfill the mitzvos in the Torah, most mitzvos cannot be performed because we live in golus. Would you like to say korbonos before davening or actually partake and bring a korbon (even a korbon Pesach)
@@Geo98719 I think that attitude is _the_ problem. Most frum people are happy with their shul and beis medrash and their life as it is. This has become the ideal and they would be just happy if they could keep davening for the geula without having to worry about it actually happening..
This didn’t make my eyes cry, but my נשמה was torn to shreds.
Sorry I didn't hear this during the lockdown. Really nice.
Can't stop crying. How I miss shul.

This song is heart wrenching. Especially when told from the point of view of the Torah itself. May we merit to fulfill its dictates.
