I agree with your conclusion. If God can produce a Son through a virgin or perform any of the miracles described in the gospels, he can surely create a measly special one-time light in the sky. The hard thing for men of higher learning to comprehend is that the gospel is for the humble of heart. The gospel can be comprehended by a child who believes
The thing is, this is "Answers in Genesis" and their mission is to put Biblical events in a scientific setting. Miracles are thus a last resort and so God using natural events is preferred outcome by this group.
Or. It wasn’t anything naturalistic? Could have been the Shekinah glory of God for all we know. The word “star” is English is translated from the Greek word “astér”, and doesn’t only just mean a literal “star”. And what? The star just moved right over the house of Mary and Joseph? Or the “planets aligned” over their house? A miracle is what it was supposed to be. Miraculous. And that’s what it was. Can’t be dogmatic about it as far as knowing exactly what it was.
Definitions from Oxford Languages · Learn more noun noun: Shekinah; noun: Shekhinah (in Jewish and Christian theology) the glory of the divine presence, conventionally represented as light or interpreted symbolically (in Kabbalism as a DIVINE FEMININE aspect...aka Shakti. Shakti means power, energy, or force. Mythologically, Shakti is always described as feminine, often personified as the goddess, Devi, the divine feminine consort of the divine masculine god Shiva. But at the deepest level, Shakti transcends gender.
Considering the shepherds remove their flocks from the fields prior to the winter season, the birth of Jesus Yeshua was more than likely in the fall and not in December as it's been traditioned passed down through the centuries before there was a "holiday". I do wish people would search history and read their bibles. No where are we told to celebrate the birth of the Messiah every year. There are pagan connections to this winter celebration that are far from biblical.
As far as the "star" that the magi saw, and which lead the magi to Jesus place of birth, why couldn't it have been an angel that God placed there as the light?
Why does it have to be a scientific explanation? Angels were recorded as stars many times in the Bible. The clue for me is - The Wise men followed this star, and then it stopped over the Child. The shepherds were visited by an angel who proclaimed Emmanuel is born tonight in a stable. Then the sky was filled with angels singing. So why couldn't the Star of Bethlehem be an angel?
So many trying to make the scripture record be natural. It was super natural and the light was low... so that it could actually be followed. Nothing high in the heavens can be followed.
Furthermore they were not idiots, they were 'wise men" and if th3 Bibke says a star appeared why on earth would you think its anything else than a star, the writers of the new Testament was not smoking pot or on any heavy substance, they wrote "a star" as that is what they knew it to be. 😊 More so they called it "His Star" so a sign of God, above all proclaiming something extraordinary 😊😊
Exactly. I don't know why the comment section is full of people going down rabbit holes. it's absurd. The Wise Men knew exactly what they were looking at and what it meant, hence why they followed it.
Because all the proposed "stars" do not stand stationary over the manger. Any actual heavenly body never directs anyone anywhere. You go east when it is in the east, you go west when it is in the est.
@@curious968 So are you questioning highly trained and experienced astronomers are you? The Wise Men were astronomers. If they saw his star in the east , then that's what it was. No mystery here.
The Star of Bethlehem was a localized event, like the Pillar of Cloud and Pillar of Fire leading the Israelites in Exodus. There was also a poetry of motion" thing happening in the heavens" with conjunctions in the Constellation of Leo the Lion, of the Tribe of Judah.
Nice idea, but it doesn't work. The wise men came from a reasonably great distance. The Bible doesn't say where they came from, but definitely not locals. How did they see it thanks to the curvature of the earth? The idea that they didn't see it before they started on the journey makes no sense. There are numberless prophesies out there. No reason for foreigners to treat the Bible as anything special -- unless they saw it "over" Palestine.
@ yes, but there are ceriphim, cherubim, and one more but I can’t remember right now. There were times when the people saw them had normal conversations with them as if they were human, and other times when they appeared, that they were terrified of them such as the instance when the shepherds saw them. When Joshua saw them he asked if they were friend or foe.
Have you considered that travelling all that way, with the dangers that were on the roads, that there was more likely a large retinue for protection...also why would 3 men trouble all of Jerusalem?
Mos Christians say that they believe in a all powerful God, but then always look for natural scientific explanations for miracles like the red sea crossing etc. God created the laws of nature and maintains it. He is not bound by it and neither is His miracles.
You might research Migdal Eder “the tower of the flock” where the special shepherds watched over the sacrificial lambs. There, in the tower of the flock was a birthing stone where these special lambs were birthed and where Jesus “the lamb of God” was birthed on that stone. Also, King David as a Shepard boy watch over these sacrificial lambs there at Bethlehem.
How about a realistic one for what happened. When the angels sang to the shepherds, a multitude of the Heavenly host rose up into the sky and were seen by these Magi...as often as necessary.
It's definitely not a Christs mass star. Jesus doesn't like his name used for pagan festivals. History shows us the pagans worshipped their idols birthday on December 25th And the bible shows us Jesus was born in the fall.
`@11.43 "The Star That Astonished the World " by E.L. Martin available in pdf, written book form and audiobook (which I have) form. Jesus wasn't born in the northern Hemisphere winter (sorry Irving Berlin and Bing Crosby) on 25 December.
It’s Tammuz ( Ezekiel 8) that was born Dec. 25th. The one RCC call Jesus. They switched Tammuz and called him Jesus and Tammuz mother Semiramis (wife of Nimrod)was named Mary. Semiramis is also known as Artemis,Diana, Ishtar, Astarte, the queen of heaven. The catholics call Mary queen of heaven. The same queen of heaven we read about in Jeremiah 44. Tammuz died, as an adult, but was resurrected after 40 days(here the 40 day lent is born). That’s why when you see a picture of Mary and Jesus in the catholic churches, the child is unnatural big for a baby to be.
On this yt channel they discussed that Christ wasn't born in December either it was more than likely in March -April or September- October time frame . No telling what these knowledgable ones saw in the skies back before electricity and spacecraft ruined stargazing in most areas of the world. Haley's comet would've been in vincity around time Christ was born also and no telli g how many other heavemly objects seeming to hover over His Birth place.
Hi! Thanks for your FE video's, they are awesome! And your so right! According to Genesis, the sun was created on day 4 while earth was already there, when did earth started spinning around the sun? God created 2 lights in Gen.1, not a light and a reflector, stars are small, not bigger than the sun, with Joshua the sun/moon stood still (not the earth), Hizkia, same story, tower of Babel into heaven and God Who came DOWN... same story, after being baptized, Jesus saw the heavens being opened (how in the world on a spinning ball, faster than Mach1?), Moses could see too far while on mount Nebo, etc. Flat Earth is all over the place in our Bible, over 200 references. And science confirms it, as we can see too far, ships do not disappear over the horizon, we see the same stars, the entire year, while we should look 180 degrees to the other side of space, Polaris is the center, we are not wobbling around the sun with bizar speeds in all kinds of directions, there simply cannot be a vacuum next to our atmosphere, water always stays level. etc. etc. Truth is there, people only must be open to see it. When we look at PSEUDOscience, we end up with the anti-God statements like big bang THEORY, evolution THEORY, gravity THEORY, relativity THEORY, black holes, dark energy, string theory, etc. The only reasons these theories exist is to HIDE God, with nasa in the forefront with their easy-to-debunk lies. Earth is stable and does not move says Bible in many places. And man is the crown on Gods creation, we are the center.
Hello I love your channel I sleep with it on quite a bit. I also purchased your book of prayers and I love sharing the prayers on my Facebook page. Are there any other prayer books that your channel has come up with?
The most important event is the Messiah’s arrival on Earth leading to His sacrifice, resurrection, and glorification. Debating what the “star” was, its origin, and its fate is interesting, but I prefer to leave it mysterious. The star appeared and then disappeared. Jesus lives forever.
Anything coming out of Answers in Genesis will always be suspect considering their young earth creationist perspective. The star was the "king star," Jupiter which conjuncted with Saturn, the Sun and the Moon in Israel's constellation, Ares in 7/6 B.C. and seen by Babylonian Magi not Persians. It came up as the morning star so the Magi were happy when they saw it and of course since Astrology was not practiced in Israel nobody understood the significance of it.
I'm not saying he's wrong, but the Magi somehow knew that this event was going to take place ahead of time. I believe they had been studying the heavens for centuries and were expecting this "star" and somehow knew exactly what it meant when they saw it "in the east". Maybe we will have to wait to find out for certain, but to me the explanation that it was a supernatural phenomena doesn't fit. There is no way possible they could have expected it or known it when they saw it.
That's right. These men were astronomers, well versed in the night sky. They understood exactly the meaning of the star or conjunction. They knew prophecy. They knew the King of the Jews had been born .
Just like a lot of Christian dogma it is anyone's guess what it was if it even existed at all. As I understand it the Gospel writers did not differentiate between Stars which are points of light and Planets which display a disc shape even to the unaided eye.
@@lemongate4869 The Greek word "ἄστρον" refers to a celestial body, specifically a star. In the New Testament, it is used to describe the stars in the sky, often symbolizing guidance, divine creation, or the vastness of God's universe. Cultural and Historical Background: In ancient Greek culture, stars were often associated with divine beings and were used for navigation and marking time. The stars were seen as part of the heavens, which were believed to be the realm of the gods. In the Jewish tradition, stars were created by God and served as signs and markers of seasons, days, and years (Genesis 1:14-18). The stars also played a role in the fulfillment of prophecy, as seen in the account of the Magi following the star to find the newborn Jesus (Matthew 2:2).
@@PrehistoricFarmsYT I wish. Every year, there are OT "experts" who come out claiming that the OT proves Christmas trees are idol worship. Every. Single. Year.
This presentation dispels some of the westernized narrative that seems a little too much like a script. I haven’t seen any movie that accurately portrays the events. David Hocking gives a much more accurate description of what really happened and the events that led up to it. The so-called wise men was an entourage of Medes with a lot of knowledge and wisdom. It was probably a caravan, not some cartoonish event as has been told and displayed for centuries. It also occurred during one of the great Biblical feasts, Sukkot. All events occur during a Biblical feast because Yehovah wills that way since it’s part of His time clock. All families clans gathered in their specific areas. Mary and Joseph went to theirs but their extended family filled up all the living quarters. They weren’t strangers but rather family members of a very large specific clan. We need to study and understand the culture in which a book was written or an event occurred. That’s how you understand something accurately instead adding foreign elements that take away important elements from a story.
Not satisfying at all. So a bunch of magi (typically astronomers/astrologers) were irrelevant to the account because they were simply following the equivalent of a genie? The other hypotheses were set up as straw men and didn’t present the ideas that Luke could have been using precisely astronomical terms like “halted” can mean the point where an object reaches its peak before descending and “where the young Child was” doesn’t say house yet. The place the Child was is Bethlehem. Thus it might being saying the Star rose to its highest position as they finally reached Bethlehem. Then they just looked for a house that had a newborn. The town wasn’t that big.
@@statutesofthelord I absolutely disagree with your opinion. I witness AIG doing this; 2 Timothy 3:16-17 "All scripture is given by inspiration from God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. That the person/man maybe perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." & 1 Peter 3:15-16 "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts and be ready always to give an answer to everyone that asks a reason for the hope that is in you with meekness and fear. Having a good conscience, where as when they speak evil of you as evildoers they maybe ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ." & 2 Timothy 4:2-5 verse 5 "But you watch in all things endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of your ministry." AIG brought out the correct verses and context to the texts. Their exegesis was excellent IMO. Also they did their homework about the actual historical dates and early witnesses to the time of the beginning of the 1st century. This teaching combined actually strengthens the sheep and the body of Christ. It does not "instill doubt".
@@statutesofthelord Did you even watch the video til the end? Dr Faulkner gives the views of the common theories then goes on to say @ 13 minutes onwards, quote, "What are the difficulties with these natural explanations?" end quote. Then further explains that it was a supernatural event. I 100% agree with Dr Danny Faulkner.
@@billcook4768 Actually we do have "an idea." It was in the fall. The sheep were still in the fields and the 7th Jewish month is in the fall. As for the actual year that is not known because the calendars have been changed so many times. But estimates put it from 6BC to 3AD. But the main thing is that Christmas was chosen to celebrate because it coincided with the Winter Solstice and church leaders were trying to bring Pegans into the religion. And Pegans hate losing their celebrations and the winter solstice goes back a long way.
@billcook4768 "We have no idea when Jesus was born," you say? That's what YOU say. 1. The Rabbis, experts at calculating dates of Jewish events, calculate the birth of Christ around the Spring time, during the month of Nisan. 2. Luke 2:7-14, tells of the Angel of the Lord greeting the shepherds tending to their flock out on the filed at night, with "greetings of glad tidings and great joy." IF THIS WAS A WINTER SCENE, THOSE WERE THE DUMBEST SHEPHERDS EVER TO BE OUT ON THE FIELD ON A COLD WINTER NIGHT. 3. The Bible uses lots of symbolism. *Spring* symbolizes birth/new life; that's when new plants *spring* forth, and new lambs are born. On the other hand, *Winter* symbolizes death. That's when MY apple and pear trees (which have already lost their leaves during the Fall) stop producing new leaves. That's when bears and other animals hibernate.
So Maybe Maybe Jesus was't born on Dec. 25. We aren't given His birthday, maybe for a reason, who knows? So, maybe we are looking at it all wrong. What if it isn't Jesus' birthday but that of the Christ's (those anointed). Throughout time God has anointed people in His Word to do the works He needed people to do. So maybe Christmas is a holiday designed to have us looking forward to the new body. Remember that Hanukkah is not ordered in the Bible, yet Jesus kept 'the festival of lights' as so many of his kin did.
Thank you for the short and sweet answer to the strange "fairy tale" things we hear about this. People are strange. They want proof of miracles by showing that it's reproducible. If that were so, it wouldn't be miraculous, now would it? 🤣
So why were these foreigners looking for a star/light in the sky in the first place? ... That's honestly what I don't get. Maybe the answer is just 'duh' but I'm missing something here...
I can perhaps find a reasonable teaching of how Daniel being one taken away into Babylon became chief over the Magis and put into place a plan for them watch for this sign and travel to worship this king. The Magis were considered king makers. This itself would have been a threat to Herod and his rule. Too they brought the riches that would enable Joseph and Mary to flee to Egypt when threatened by Herod.

I would suggest the christmas star was a flying machine. Much like todays drones, or hovercrafts. As for a virgin birth, I also suggest invitro fertilization. And just as we have today located in Svalbard, a world seed bank, Noahs Ark was a floating DNA bank. These ideas make sense because we read in Genesis we are to re-plenish the earth. This implies that whatever was here before was no more. (perhaps a cataclysmic event had wiped out life).
This is what you should consider, the star which is probably millions or billions of light years away was PLANNED to PERFECTION to events happening on earth. Think about that for a trillion years 😂
I like the supernatural explanation of them seeing the star locally👍💯 But why do you say the earth rotates if scripture says it is at rest and can't be moved?
@@Shoerandomcanoe There are supposed to be earthquakes at some point I think Luke 21:11 - There will be great earthquakes, and in various places famines and pestilences. And there will be terrors and great signs from heaven.
The earth is not a spinning ball! The bible details the shape of the earth, the firmament dividing the waters above from the waters below etc and that God made two luminaries. We do not live on a planet! All through the bible, what we live on is detailed to those with ears to hear and eyes to see. 🙏📖✝️🇦🇺
Since we know the Earth is a planet that rotates on its axis, what does it matter what books say? The Earth is indeed is indeed right there for those with eyes to see.
The star was NOT a planet, star, comet, etc. It was an angel. Might want to read revelation. Angels are called stars and self illuminate just like Christ when he transfigured and Moses face when he spent time with God. The stars that "Lucifer" was wanting to exactly his throne over was his peers. The people who are looking for celestial objects apparently have never done celestial navigation over land, nor do they truly listen to the holy Spirit. The truth is in the bible... It was no celestial object. Go read Matthew 2 again as well where it says "it went before them and STOOD over where Christ was."
You know that how? Obviously you weren’t there. I think that it’s something that shouldn’t be something that we are dogmatic about. The Bible doesn’t specifically say what day or month or even what year it was.
@@billcook4768 I mean there is some indication in Luke 2:8 when he talks about Shepards watching over their flocks the night he was born. Sheep graze outside in spring and early fall. So not a ton to go on but some.
Uuuuuhhhh spanner in the works.. there is no such thing as a Christmas star, nor does it even exists in the Bible. The Bible says a star appeared in the East and it lead the wise men (not 3 of them, an entire tribe of the Magi) to where Jesus was born in Bethlehem. That time of year was also definitely not in December as the shepherds were at night in the field. Possible more in time with late March to July 😊😊 just some Biblical truths. No fables and fantasies. Sugguested video to watch for more info on Christ's real day of birth will be Johnathan Cahn's video on that subject.. very good eye opener. 😊
Wow. I can't believe people are still guessing at this. A book was written ALMOST 10 YEARS AGO finally revealing the truth about the Star of Bethlehem. It's called "The Great Christ Comet" by Colin Nicholl. Christ was born Oct 18-20th, not Dec 25th. The Dec 25th date is pagan based on the Winter Solstice. Christians need to get understand this. Christmas is an invented holiday to coincide with the Winter Solstice (Dec 21st) Our family still celebrates it, but we do so with the understanding that Christ conquers all. But you really need to read this book. It'll blow your mind. Also the author was on Eric Metaxes show years ago and he lays it all out. It's probably here on YT.
@@statutesofthelord ??? My pride? Where do you find pride in my post? I'm not the author. I just bought the book 9 years ago. The book was widely promoted at the time. One of the big arguments the modern day atheists use is "Christ is just like Santa, a mythical figure." I want people to know Christ, the real Christ, not the one fake one. There is another book that people should read, Pagan Christianity?: Exploring the Roots of Our Church Practices. Romans 14:5-6 NIV: "One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind. Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord. Whoever eats meat does so to the Lord, for they give thanks to God; and whoever abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God." Knowing these things allows Christians to refute the non-believer with facts.
1) We don’t know when Jesus was born 2) December 25 was not picked because the solstice in near then. It was picked because early Christians believed Jesus was conceived on the same day of the year he died
And lo, he shall suffer temptations, and pain of body, hunger, thirst, and fatigue, even more than man can suffer, except it be unto death; for behold, blood cometh from every pore, so great shall be his anguish for the wickedness and the abominations of his people. 8 And he shall be called Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Father of heaven and earth, the Creator of all things from the beginning; and his mother shall be called Mary.
Mat.12.38¶Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee. 39¶But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: 40For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. THREE DAYS, THREE NIGHTS Mat 16.21¶From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. I believe the "star" was the the shekinah glory that the shepphards saw on the night of Jesus' birth. The Magi saw it, too, from far away in Persia. They left to go find "the King of the Jews" and two years later showed up in Jerusalem.
Agreed except for the "2 years" part. Whatever it was, it was supernatural, so trying to explain the "in the east" etc. is not helpful. Usually AIG is better than this video was.
@@statutesofthelord - The "2 year" part is based on the age of the infants that Herod slaughtered. The Magi told Herod when they saw first the star. See Matthew 2.7 and 2.16.

@briannehill7583 Isaiah 14:12. The angel lucifer is referred to as morning star. Thats just 1 I can think of. Sorry I'm not a bible scholar but I do love Jesus
Whatever it was, it was used by the Three Wise Men, the Magi, who were from a part of this world where Zaroastoism was a very popular teaching and faith. Just a little bit of info that kinda adds some questions to Why the Magi? Idk why, God KNOWS, but idk. So, we have non Jews coming to give praise and honour to The King. Take into consideration that The Emperor of China around 33 AD, a people who back then worshipped one almighty creator with a name for Him in their language, well The Emperor was informed about Jesus's gift to mankind. He even recorded the sky going dark, all the way over in China. So, WHY China? Idk, but you know who does know? GOD KNOWS. So, no matter what we know or not, is irrelevant, we don't need to know everything about everything to KNOW that there is more to life than this 3D. Only a stubborn lover of thyself can delusionally claim that there is nothing apart from the 3D. All thanks and praise be to God. Tenete Traditiones (as ordered) God bless.
God commanded it and it was done. you can use science to prove or not but He created it and commanded it to be at that moment. Just like when Jesus died.

Interesting. I'm not theologian or expert, but here are my thoughts on the events and people involved. When Joseph & Mary traveled to Bethlehem, it was not in the winter or in December for that matter; it was nearing the Autumn season right after the harvest had been completed allowing families to pay the tribute that was forced upon everyone by Caesar Augustus and Cyrenius. They would not have traveled from Nazareth to Bethlehem in the freezing temperatures and/or snow. That would have been hazardous for both, but mostly for Mary. Considering that scripture says that the "star" led the wise men to Jerusalem and then moved to hover over where Joseph, Mary and Jesus were staying. An actual star does not move like that, especially in our firmament/sky. The star the wise men initially saw was definitely a conjunction or several stars passing through a constellation signifying something momentous. As mentioned in this presentation, they Magi knew someone special among the Jews was to rise up, and they wanted to meet the newborn King of the Jews. I firmly believe it *was* an actual heavenly angel who led these wanderers to Bethlehem to find Jesus now living in the house, because the "star" moved before the Magi and came to stop over the place where the family was staying. IF this was merely a star, it could not stay put and designate a specific region like a building. The place where they stayed was most likely the same structure where the stable existed underneath the living quarters. It's interesting how most stables were on the first floor, with human quarters being on the second and third floors. Scripture says that after He was born, a little time had passed from when the shepherds came to visit them in the stable... to when the wise men finally arrived and found them in the house where they were staying [Matthew 2:1-12]. It's unimportant how man Magi traveled to see Jesus. The word is plural for Magus which in turn also infer they were magicians, astronomers/astrologers; the equivalent might be like our modern day scientists and scholars. Some references infer them as being Zoroastrian priests. It is reasonable to say there were more than just the Magi who arrived, since they usually traveled with servants, camels and components for shelter as well as food. Scripture mentions three gifts that were presented to Mary & Joseph for Jesus, not how many Magi there were. Tradition leaves room for speculation which tends to get inflated and mutated over time. When they first saw this conjunction, they may have had plenty of time to research its meaning, plan their travel then set out to leave. By then, 4 BC could've arrived to when Jesus may have been born right before Herod died.
I mean no one knows if this is actually what the Christmas star was supposed to look like at all, people are just making the comparison because it happened around Christmas time.
There is scripture that refers to angels as stars. Perhaps it was angel.
It's the only explanation that fits.👍 Natural celestial bodies just don't work.
Book/chapter/verse???
The Wise Men were astronomers. They knew what a star looked like. "We have seen his star in the east."
Can’t be dogmatic about it as far as knowing exactly what it was.

noun: Shekinah; noun: Shekhinah
(in Jewish and Christian theology) the glory of the divine presence, conventionally represented as light or interpreted symbolically (in Kabbalism as a DIVINE FEMININE aspect...aka Shakti.

If it was low enough to the ground to point specifically to where the child was, then it was obviously not a an astronomical star
Exactly, cos the Bible says it stopped above the place where He was born
As far as the "star" that the magi saw, and which lead the magi to Jesus place of birth, why couldn't it have been an angel that God placed there as the light?
Because the Wise Men, who were astronomers, said it was a STAR. Pay attention.
No. It was a star. There is nothing at all mystifying about that.
So many trying to make the scripture record be natural. It was super natural and the light was low... so that it could actually be followed. Nothing high in the heavens can be followed.
YES. You cannot follow a planet or a star to a certain spot on earth. It is impossible and illogical. Thus, this star was something else.
@@MonteVanNortwick If we read the story as it is, this conclusion is the end result.
Furthermore they were not idiots, they were 'wise men" and if th3 Bibke says a star appeared why on earth would you think its anything else than a star, the writers of the new Testament was not smoking pot or on any heavy substance, they wrote "a star" as that is what they knew it to be. 😊
More so they called it "His Star" so a sign of God, above all proclaiming something extraordinary 😊😊
Exactly. I don't know why the comment section is full of people going down rabbit holes. it's absurd.
The Wise Men knew exactly what they were looking at and what it meant, hence why they followed it.
If God wanted a star He makes a star, He has made everything else så why not a new star just for Jesus?

It was the Shekinah, just like in Exodus and Numbers. God’s Divine presence.

Mos Christians say that they believe in a all powerful God, but then always look for natural scientific explanations for miracles like the red sea crossing etc. God created the laws of nature and maintains it. He is not bound by it and neither is His miracles.

The STAR mentioned in Matthew was from Balaam's prophecy in the book of Numbers. Not made up by Matthew.
Three planets in conjunction would be called a Stellium.
How about a realistic one for what happened. When the angels sang to the shepherds, a multitude of the Heavenly host rose up into the sky and were seen by these Magi...as often as necessary.

Local star under the Firmament. Earth is Flat!
God created the world. He can make a definitive sign.

It may have been Jesus's throne in Ezekiel, with Him now in the baby Jesus.

I witness AIG doing this;
2 Timothy 3:16-17
"All scripture is given by inspiration from God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. That the person/man maybe perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works."
& 1 Peter 3:15-16
"But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts and be ready always to give an answer to everyone that asks a reason for the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.
Having a good conscience, where as when they speak evil of you as evildoers they maybe ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ."
& 2 Timothy 4:2-5
verse 5 "But you watch in all things endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of your ministry."
AIG brought out the correct verses and context to the texts. Their exegesis was excellent IMO.
Also they did their homework about the actual historical dates and early witnesses to the time of the beginning of the 1st century.

@billcook4768
"We have no idea when Jesus was born," you say?
That's what YOU say.
1. The Rabbis, experts at calculating dates of Jewish events, calculate the birth of Christ around the Spring time, during the month of Nisan.
2. Luke 2:7-14, tells of the Angel of the Lord greeting the shepherds tending to their flock out on the filed at night, with "greetings of glad tidings and great joy."
IF THIS WAS A WINTER SCENE, THOSE WERE THE DUMBEST SHEPHERDS EVER TO BE OUT ON THE FIELD ON A COLD WINTER NIGHT.

December 25 is the birthday of *Tammuz,* the son of *Nimrod* (the builder of the Tower of Babel.)

Maybe Jesus was't born on Dec.

Jesus was most likely* not born in December.
You know that how? Obviously you weren’t there. I think that it’s something that shouldn’t be something that we are dogmatic about. The Bible doesn’t specifically say what day or month or even what year it was.
@@1000DavidK how is it dogmatic to say Jesus wasn’t born in December, especially when your reasoning is “you weren’t there.”
We have zero idea when he was born.
@@Shoerandomcanoe It sounds that way - “Jesus wasn’t.
To be not so unequivocal, it could have said, “probably wasn’t” or “likely wasn’t”.
Are you in a habit of contradicting yourself?
It's probably here on YT.
stickman, your pride is leading to your fall. Be careful.

39¶But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:
40For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
THREE DAYS, THREE NIGHTS
Mat 16.21¶From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. RAISED ON THE THIRD DAY

Luke18.31¶Then he took unto him the twelve and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.
32For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on:
33 And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again.
THE THIRD DAY
The sign of Jonah by itself is very specific. To land on a day, you have to begin with a night. No choice here.
Then add "after three days" it's more and more detailed.
The big difference between Sunday morning and Friday evening is the half day difference. To get a Sunday morning resurrection, you have to do away with part of the sign of Jonah.
Sundown Friday to sunup Sunday is one day and a half.
Thursday to Sunday, two and half days
Wednesday to Sunday, three and half days
Only one choice left
Wednesday at just before sundown to Saturday at just before sundown
Wednesday was the 14th, and Saturday was the Sabbath, the 17th
He raises those at Mat 27.52-53 (Obiediah 1.17, Rev 14.1-5) after His resurrection. After sundown the 18th (Lev.23.9-12 the morrow after the Sabbath)
Luke 24.10 It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary, the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles.
Mat 28.1, Mark 16.1, Luke 24.1, are all Mary Magdalene's second visit to the tomb.
Jhn 20.1 is Mary Magdalene's first visit to the tomb. (Notice "we") Only place the first visit is recorded.
Jhn 20.11 Is Mary Magdalene's second visit to the tomb

@@rubiks6 The glory is never called "shekinah" that I can find. Seems to be a reference to Shakti which would fall under blasphemy.
You can believe what ever you want to believe. It doesn't, however, make it true.
The Wise Men were astronomers. They knew exactly what they were looking at and what it meant: a star or conjuction signifying a Royal birth.
@lemongate4869 Merry Christmas, and a happy new year.
He was born in a tomb/hole dug into the wall and he was probably 40 years old when he was buried
Maybe it was an angel as they are often called stars in the Bible
I cant think of an example in the Bible of that. Can you help jog my memory with a chapter and verse? I'd love to go look that up, thank you
There's already been a documentary put out about this by an attorney doing scientific historical astronomy research - STAR OF BETHLEHEM
@@briannehill7583commonly Old Testament, but in revelation it refers to Satan as a great dragon that takes 1/3 of the stars from heaven.
Exactly. Specifically the star was the angel of the Lord. “Star of the King” by Jeffrey Mardis is the best book on the subject.
As to Bible verses where angels are called stars - Revelation 1:20 KJV and Job 38:4, 7 KJV.

God bless.
God commanded it and it was done. you can use science to prove or not but He created it and commanded it to be at that moment. Just like when Jesus died.
Foolishness 😂😅
This is one of the last guys I would believe.
I believe that it was the Shekinnah glory because not everyone was able to see it. And how does light just rest over a house?
People say “Jesus wasn’t born in December” sure we don’t know the date, but does that mean we should celebrate it? Chill out don’t make this a thing!
Bottom line: You find bunch of baloney in the bible.
There are no mentions of baloney in the Bible.

As long as Christians don't worship pagan God's, we're good. Its all about the heart before Jesus, right.
Plus, everyday is named after a pagan entity, do you worship them everyday

Christ is not in 'Christmas', it's a pagan festival. It was called 'his star'.
*The Enuma Elish would later be the inspiration for the Hebrew scribes who created the text now known as the biblical Book of Genesis.* Prior to the 19th century CE, the Bible was considered the oldest book in the world and its narratives were thought to be completely original. In the mid-19th century CE, however, European museums, as well as academic and religious institutions, sponsored excavations in Mesopotamia to find physical evidence for historical corroboration of the stories in the Bible. ***These excavations found quite the opposite, however, in that, once cuneiform was translated, it was understood that a number of biblical narratives were Mesopotamian in origin.***
*Famous stories such as the Fall of Man and the Great Flood were originally conceived and written down in Sumer,* translated and modified later in Babylon, and reworked by the Assyrians ***before they were used by the Hebrew scribes for the versions which appear in the Bible.***
***In revising the Mesopotamian creation story for their own ends, the Hebrew scribes tightened the narrative and the focus but retained the concept of the all-powerful deity who brings order from chaos.*** Marduk, in the Enuma Elish, establishes the recognizable order of the world - *just as God does in the Genesis tale* - and human beings are expected to recognize this great gift and honor the deity through service.

3 sisters? Who are these sisters?
@PrehistoricFarmsYT oops sorry not three it's seven sisters
@@Just-Incredible420 oh! You mean the seven sisters star cluster?
