Thank you for making this video! I used to have a Lumia 1020! I'm a huge fan of Halides process zero mode. On my 15 Pro Max, I get some amazing shots, even in lower light! It should be the default camera app on iPhones hahaha
Thank you for showing the 1020, until now I still carry the Lumia 1020 wherever I go to take photos at any time as a second phone even though it is only a pocket camera, it is amazing
What I learned from this content is that every chef has their own distinct cooking techniques, leading to a remarkable variety of results and flavors. It's intriguing how even subtle differences in approach can transform a dish entirely. I still haven’t found the perfect camera that delivers flawless and perfect results. It might be perfect, but it will expire in just one minute right after released.
Great comparison! The Lumias definitely were some of the best 'phones-as-a-camera' at the time. And the 1020 still holds up well! And it's interesting that you found the specific look each phone gave to be remarkable. Nowadays I'm glad to have a phone with different focal lengths to get the desired framing and then as clean a picture as I can get.
I like how you pointed out that all three have camera buttons 😁 great video man! I miss old good unprocessed look. I think that is one of less-talked-about reasons why digicams blew up in recent years
its interesting how we got so advanced and we ve been trying to replicate how our eyes see into all these tiny chips and processing and in the end we're going back to basics and embracing the rawness of image processing, as imperfect as it is but "vintage" as we probably link it to better times due to nostalgia
Thank you for making this video. I really can't tell which one is which. they seemed inconsistent with only the iphone seemed to be brighter in some shots
I am have been shooting the iPhone 16 pro in pro raw heif max jpef xl lossless adjusting the mode (love the stark b&w look) and the tone to my desired look. so far I have been pleased. although still getting use to the camera control button which definitely needs some software tweaking. when I want true raw I shoot with my adobe Lightroom camera which puts the photo in my adobe library. nice to have both options. great video. LOVE Berlin! one of my favorite cities.
Do any of the Halide apps take advantage of the 48MP that are available in later iPhones please? Most Third Party apps seem to have some really great features but only work with 12MP.
Great video. Wish you had shown us some portraits however. The “Apple face look” makes everyone looks this weird, unnatural beige-pink colour. But when I use my old iPhone to take photos (pre iPhone 11) the new iOS updates have made portraits terrible, everyone looks like a cop rose with almost white, grey skin. So I just don’t know what to use for portrait shows anymore.
i'm too impatient to finish the video before commenting but they are adding two-stage shutter functionality to that button at some point this year, I would assume with the update that brings Apple Intelligence.
iPhone won picture without hdr contest for me, almost all pictures I choose as the best were made with 16 pro. I’ve had Lumia 1020, pictures were spectacular but it was very slow you could not catch a moment. It was obvious that the hardware was to weak to process so huge files and computentional photography was impossible with such sensor.
I want so badly to take the imagine pipeline of the Lumia and Create an Android Cam App and then put Android in a Lumia 1020 combine it and make a Nokia Android 1020!! (name to be altered if a better one is suggested) Ik people have been trying but I know it's possible, if we can crack a 360 we can crack a little phone! (ik it's different but we used to say 360 was impossible too(
I have a question for you please . So let’s say you have a 13 pro and then get 16 pro would that mean the pictures on instagram come out better with the 16 pro? Or would the differences be negligible?( I don’t use zoom )
I wanted the lumia 1020 so bad back in the day, but the operating system held me back.
i had windows phones until microsoft just broke support. it had whatsapp which was all i needed. simpler times...
@@nutzeeer I agree. Some of us don’t care about social media whatsoever and were fine with windows phone ❤
The OS was the biggest reason I wanted one lmao
I loved windows phone so much
Same. I went with iPhone 5 back then.
The 1020 holding up over ten years later is wild
apple is just 10 years behind
@@nutzeeerI wouldn’t say 10 years
More like 2 or 3
That 1020 was wayyyyyy ahead of its time with its camera

Thanks for such an exhaustive comparison.
I still have both Nokia phones used in the comparison plus a 1020 battery grip.
Great comparison and review! Love the beautiful shots around Berlin as well, such a wonderful city 🙂

Very nice! This is the kind of content that I would like to see more often!
Awesome vid!!! Loved the colors on the 1020 ❤ I have a 14 plus and absolutely hate the over processed look on pictures specially on faces
Thank you for making this video. I really can't tell which one is which. they seemed inconsistent with only the iphone seemed to be brighter in some shots
Cool to see this test, I had both of those Nokia, the 808 had a better photography button than the iPhone 16! lol

Sorry for the off topic, is that an Olympus in the corner of the thumbnail? 😍📸
Yes it is! :)
@@GeeksTable Cheers from from one Olympus lover to another 🤙

3:07 not sure if the lens are just dirty but i really like the lens flares on bith nokias.

Nice video bro
Great informative video. I’m currently enjoying using Lampa. Also a photo app that doesn’t use any of the Apple process. Pretty DSLR camera look.
How is this app not supporting the new camera control slider? It’s the perfect candidate!!!
really interesting video!
Wild to see how good Nokia phones did even if they came over a decade ago!

I liked the iPhone photos best overall

Nokia808 Bast👌🥰
That Nokia 1020 out stand iPhone in daylight photos
hey man can you share the original pics on onedrive? TIA

I can easily spot the iphone 16 by its focal length
1020 every time except for the night shots
Lumia was from future
Fyi the iphone doesnt have a 48mp sensor…
What? Then what does it have?
What on earth ... Why pay for iPhone 16 Pro?
