Agreed though: I think Joyboy is actually speaking to Emet. Clearly Luffy wasn't the one talking to Law and Momo on Wano underwater and unconscious. There may just be the chance that Joyboy can speak through Luffy as a soul residing in the Fruit. It gives more credence to this idea especially when, back on Dressrosa, Sabo said to Burgess that Ace said (line I can't exactly remember) and after the Dressrosa battle as well when Sabo spoke to Zoro and Zoro noted that Ace said the same thing. Ace spoke through Sabo both times, so it doesn't seem too wild that Joyboy can use the voice of all things to communicate telepathically through Luffy.
No, not at all. We know quite much about all of them. Poseidon is shirahoshi and the sea kings, pluton is some kind of ship under wano, not in egghead. And uranus is the flying laser bazooka that vegapunk just talked about for several chapters. The iron giant is "just" part of joyboys crew just like zunisha. It seems the power level was quite a lot higher in the void century than it is today.
What i also notice is that Sanji tells Bonney. "These are Captain's orders" when they are supposed to hit him. Does this mean Oda is setting up that she might join the crew eventually? Seeing tht Luffy calls her by her name. Everyone who he calls by their actual name shows up in his crew when he eventually gains respect for them etc.
If that was the case, Stella's powers would've been nullified when he was putting the den den mushi in it. Plus those monsters aren't confirmed fruit useds for some weird reason
Originally i thought the same but it wouldn't make much sense given luffy has interacted with it perfectly fine. I could see it being some sort of fabricated sea prism or some sort of "dawn" alloy that is a sort of fusion between sea prism and something else that gets rid of it's weakening effect on devil fruit users but still allows you to harm them
My condolences to all the haters that thought One Piece was done for. And to those who were just too new to the series to know Oda's game, this was your baptism. Most of us went through this before. Remember when time-travel was revealed?
Wonder if the editor is referring to luffys reaction to seeing emeth as emeth lives on as franky had a similar reaction when shaka gave a brief synopsis of the void century and franky mentioning it being an epic and romantic tale
@mokaljordan I personally interpreted it as a callback to romance dawn. And with the recent major theme of bringer of dawn, didn't think it would be too far off if the term romance makes a comeback as well. Or it was all a 5head foreshadowing on Oda's part lol

One thing I absolutely LOVED was seeing Luffy being strategic with the crew. Telling them to attack him and warning everyone about the Elders' invincibility.
Here's a fun fact: "Emeth" was actually the name of the golem from Jewish folklore - the myth where the idea for golems originally come from! The word "golem" is a Hebrew word which means "something incomplete or unfinished." According to the original Jewish folklore, golems are described as sculpted clay figures that have been magically brought to life using words and whose sole purpose was to do the will of their maker. The original Jewish myth of the Golem (who, like the Iron Giant, was named Emeth) was told as a warning of the dangers of creating something we cannot control...
its insane how powerscalers will cry and shit and piss before seeing how a plot point will end. Like duh Bonney would only be able to do a quick attack with G5 its way too much energy to maintain
not to mention haki, that is not something you can just copy, that is where luffy's truth strength comes from and his countless life and death battles just to progress his haki
You know what if devil fruits came not only from desires but also from ironic unintentional jokes like " you know what would be funny? If i was a jacket. Lol" then bamm jacket fruit!
I wanted to say that the Iron giant is probably resistant to the attacks of Elders, because he's made out of sea prism stone. (I disproved myslef 5sec later when I remembered that Luffy touched him and didn t get dizzy)
The way Bonney said "being 'free' is very tyring" made it sound like the act of becoming "free", whatever that entails, is more than just a DF transformation
I interpretted the joy boy speaking moment as "the voice of all things." That's why it's in present tense, and that's why Luffy gets a reaction panel. Luffy can hear the voice of all things so he can hear joy boy speaking.

@@noremac7216I dont think so because the giant robot was taller than warcury and it drowned .
@@ayushacharya89132 yeah but we also see it above the water later, so either it knows how to swim or it walked up to a shallow spot. Not dismissing the idea just saying it's definitely possible for him to still be a devil fruit user just based on what we've seen
Or because he's huge and that little water would harm him
Agreed though: I think Joyboy is actually speaking to Emet.
That robot is rapidly starting to look like an "Ancient Weapon".
13:38 Maybe the giant is made from sea prism stone
If that was the case, Stella's powers would've been nullified when he was putting the den den mushi in it.
Plus those monsters aren't confirmed fruit useds for some weird reason
@@katsu2887 not just stella, but luffy and chopper did run around on it and touch it, grab it and pull and it had no effect
Originally i thought the same but it wouldn't make much sense given luffy has interacted with it perfectly fine. I could see it being some sort of fabricated sea prism or some sort of "dawn" alloy that is a sort of fusion between sea prism and something else that gets rid of it's weakening effect on devil fruit users but still allows you to harm them
But the One Piece Wikia already confirmed that the Gorosei are devil fruit users
Thanks for always almost instantly reminding me of reading the chapter, Liam, you're a great alarm
Was Franky not using an upgraded "strong right" I thought he said "impactful strong right"?
I think it goes to show that he is using armament now, backed up by Luffys comment.
I'm pretty sure if you look closely we can see a burning black blob on the island which is probably Warcury reforming.
6:36 wasnt there a better choice of words ☠️
My condolences to all the haters that thought One Piece was done for. And to those who were just too new to the series to know Oda's game, this was your baptism. Most of us went through this before. Remember when time-travel was revealed?
Of all the things in the chapter, the last editor's note(?) " the romance lives on" has to be my favourite line
@@guyensodnomtseren2855 yea it could be shounen jump or one of oda's editors making that callback with that note
See people? This is what happens when you let Oda cook
Oda doing the lil yachty walk out is hilarious 😂😂😂 you snuck it in
If Iron Giant can punch that hard, that makes me think Frankie will get a much needed power up at Elbaf
Ussop and Franky both need a boost to make them relevant to the end game. Otherwise it's going to be a giant battle of God's with ussop crying behind a rock while Franky stands on the rock and yells really intense shit
Going Gundam is the only thing missing in One piece after Robo cops , mermaids , fishmans , power rangers , seven deadly sins , aliens and ...
The Buggy The Buggy is real
Don't we don't need a literally world cutting devil fruit Awakening
One thing I absolutely LOVED was seeing Luffy being strategic with the crew. Telling them to attack him and warning everyone about the Elders' invincibility.
The Version of the chapter I read said "You Guys Are Using Haki". I saw this as a confirmation that Franky hast armament haki too
I'm pretty sure Ju Peter was just clearing up space for the giant Viking ship when he expelled all the Cipher Pol agents.
Here's a fun fact: "Emeth" was actually the name of the golem from Jewish folklore - the myth where the idea for golems originally come from!
The word "golem" is a Hebrew word which means "something incomplete or unfinished."
According to the original Jewish folklore, golems are described as sculpted clay figures that have been magically brought to life using words and whose sole purpose was to do the will of their maker.
The original Jewish myth of the Golem (who, like the Iron Giant, was named Emeth) was told as a warning of the dangers of creating something we cannot control...
After writing all this I started actually reading other comments and realized a lot of others beat me to the punch unfortunately lol 😅
Yes but that golem s name wasn't Emet mate 😂 Emet is a word that was used to turn something into Life
You had me at “Girthy backshot” good sir 😂
“Rather girthy backshot” 🤣🤣🤣
I think this chapter confirms that elder's yokai powers are not devil fruits because they made contact with sea water and looked unaffected
its insane how powerscalers will cry and shit and piss before seeing how a plot point will end. Like duh Bonney would only be able to do a quick attack with G5 its way too much energy to maintain
not to mention haki, that is not something you can just copy, that is where luffy's truth strength comes from and his countless life and death battles just to progress his haki
Franky has gotta get somethin’ this arc. He’s put up some good feats but hasn’t gotten a upgrade since the time skip.
You know what if devil fruits came not only from desires but also from ironic unintentional jokes like " you know what would be funny? If i was a jacket. Lol" then bamm jacket fruit!
“... viewer on the toilet”
*Me immediately getting up feeling self conscious for being called out*
That oda ai meme caught me off guard
I wanted to say that the Iron giant is probably resistant to the attacks of Elders, because he's made out of sea prism stone. (I disproved myslef 5sec later when I remembered that Luffy touched him and didn t get dizzy)
The way Bonney said "being 'free' is very tyring" made it sound like the act of becoming "free", whatever that entails, is more than just a DF transformation
Ohh, I love the parallel of the Giant's right helmet horn being broken, and he punches Warcury's right tusk clean off.
Are we still pretending Franky isn't one of the strongest strawhats?
Emmett is also Dr. Brown's first name in Back to The Future.
I interpretted the joy boy speaking moment as "the voice of all things." That's why it's in present tense, and that's why Luffy gets a reaction panel. Luffy can hear the voice of all things so he can hear joy boy speaking.
Has anyone thought about how joy boy could be the narrator? Almost like how he has the Deadpool 4th wall breaking ability with his imagination? 🤔
Oda past 2 weeks: sike vegareveals go on...
Oda this week: sike, its VEGA d. puNk
Emmett, meaning Truth in Hebrew was the word written on the forehead of the clay figure that came to life and became the Golem in Jewish lore.
Iron Giant confirmed final Straw Hat.
