My Dad gave me two tickets to go see Tommy at the Balboa Theatre in San Diego, where TE gave an all outperformance. Beatle’s Medleys, Classical gas, Lewis and Clark, Angelina a great performance of Blood Brothers and then he said “ I’m gonna play a song I wrote for a movie and this is the first time I’ve played it for a live audience” Wish me luck ok! I don’t think I heard a breath until the song ended it was this mesmerizing song. I put my phone to record it and listened to it for two months! TE is one of the best!
The self-taught master of the guitar who teaches us all every time we hear him play. If you have never heard this man play live, put it immediately on your bucket list and make the effort to travel how ever far you need to go to witness a once in a lifetime master of an instrument playing in the same room as you. No level of HD video can capture the energy and love this guy pours into every note. As an Australian, I have been lucky enough to see Tommy play live on about 20 occasions. Once in a small music store in a regional town, to about 20 people, right through to center stage of the Sydney Opera House packed to capacity. I can report that he treats his audience exactly the same every night, whether its the President, Kings and Queens, or a young player who couldn't afford the ticket price but managed to sneak in some how. A genuine gift from God who keeps giving, and giving. Make sure we all send the love back to Tommy, who at 64 years of age is very much still sending it out to us, every day.
Keeping my fingers crossed that I will eventually see Alexandria/Washington, DC on Tommy's Tour schedule. It's been almost a year since he was he last. Love Rachel's Song!!!
I love you Tommy! Your 1999 performance in Issoudun, France is what gave me the passion to pick up my guitar again after 5yrs. Ive played every single day and improved greatly since that day thanks to you. Thank you.
With a sound so sweet, I just had to close my eyes & imagine... that's how sweet the raindrops sound must sound to nature, when they fall, putting out the raging wildfires across Australia (where Tommy's from). Prayers for Australia.

I remember seeing him at GPAC Victoria Aus when at the end of his performance he through his pick into the crowd, I must have been about 14 when I had the speed and agility to catch a fly; and it landed straight into my hand, Tommy was nice enough to meet me back stage and get it signed with the initials TE. Played my guitar non-stop for a long time after that, but unfortunately I had a bad habit of placing the pick in my mouth and subsequently chewed the pick whilst trying to figure out new chords 😂 We love you Tommy and you’re a great ambassador. Cheers 🍻
