Welcome Belgium. And thank you for watching. We are very fortunate to have found one another. It's wonderful that we get to knit together as well as enjoy some really good wine.
What a great story from your trip, Claudia! Another fun and enabling...er, engaging, episode. Your projects are all so beautiful and well done. Loved your sweaters knit in Linen Quill. I'm making my first Half and Half Triangles Wrap in Linen Quill, colors Fresh Pickle and Kiln Red. I now understand why people love it so much, and am anxious to try more of Purl Soho's yarns (thanks a lot, Janet 😏😄). Thank you for making my evening a better one, and best wishes to each of you. 🌻
Oh my gosh, do you ever sleep? You get so much knitting done. Awesome. Thanks for sharing your Daily Pullovers. They all are great and I loved seeing it in different colors.
Watching podcasts are wonderful and dangerous lol 😂 - i added 5 more sweaters to my queue from what you ladies are knitting. Such great inspiration thanks for sharing and podcasting. I love how our knitting corner of the world brings such joy and happiness to us knitters/makers. ❤. All the best Tonya
You ladies never fail to amaze me with your gorgeous sweaters and wonderful yarn choices. I am inspired by every video you put out. Thank you so much. 😊
I just love love love your friendship, yarn enthusiasm, and sweaters. All the sweaters! If you are ever in the Willamette Valley doing wine tasting, I will bring my knitting and have some suggestions! 😀💞
I really love your podcast! You talk about knitting! And, your comments on patterns and stitches and techniques is really helpful. I just made my first knitted garment and you are inspiring me to “knit on”! Thank you❤
I love seeing that same sweater in 3 versions! ❤ The color choice suits each one of you 🎉 Love this episode, as always…. I wonder how much you knit in one month! 🧶
Thanks for another wonderful podcast on this crazy rainy day! Exactly the treat I needed to decompress a crazy couple of days! An Argyle vest, how lovely, Tammi! I eyed a baby version of a Argyle vest and was going to knit it for my grand kid last year. My virtual knitting friend suggested that I duplicate stitch the “x’s” that crossed the boxes. I have never knit three colors, so that would be easier! It is still in my queue. I’ve bought a vest pattern to knit a vest for me but messed up on not so clear instructions. So I haven’t really start that again either. I have to knit baby stuff for my daughter’s boss and DIL’s cousin who are both expecting in September instead. 😉 Thanks for sharing and the knitting company! Happy knitting! ❤❤
The instructions for the Argyle vest are pretty clear, especially for a magazine. I just skimmed over the argyle instructions since I wasn’t doing that part but I think the skinny lines are duplicate stitch. Cheers! 🧶🍷
Just finished watching all of your episodes over the last few weeks. I love you guys! Looking forward to your next episode. A little trivia for you...there's a Malabrigo wine!😅😅😅😅
You 3 ladies definitely inspire me to try knitting wearables.... Shawls, hats, scarves are the only "wearables" I have knitted. I just finished my first pair of socks! (which I made for my husband) Love watching your Podcast!!
Your colourwork sweater is lovely Janet. You might find that by putting a half size larger needle on your left needle will help with your tension. That is if you use interchangeable needles. Hope that helps you when you do your next colourwork project. Love your podcast.
Another great episode!!!! I loooved all of the knits and yes you have made my queue much longer!!!! Janet I will be curious to see how Glow wears. I have used Merino and silk blends from two different and very popular indie dyers and both of those sweaters pilled extensively. Glow is a great price point and looks beautiful. I will be very interested to see how it wears.
Yes it is the Gloss dk from knit picks and is so soft and squishy. I hope it doesn’t pill too much. I’m loving the yarn now so we’ll see when I start wearing it. I’ll keep you posted. Thanks for your nice comments. 😀🧶🍷
I’m curious how many hours a day you girls knit. Your productions are amazing. I think I knit a lot during the day but nothing like you. It’s a lot of sitting.
You are right, it is a lot of sitting. I think it varies among all of us how much we meant during the day. It depends on what else we have going on. It's a great way to fill our time when there's not a lot to do. We are getting into spring and summer, so likely we'll have less time knitting and more time golfing. 😁
Janet, I have a needle holder that is a lightweight metal tube with stoppers on the ends. The stoppers have slits in them for you to slide the needles into. They have never failed me. Thanks ladies for yet another wonderful episode.
Loved seeing your Daily Pullovers, mine will now come out of hibernation, playing yarn chicken with 2 skeins gifted by my daughter. Found your podcast via Pia’s knitathon and really enjoy the dynamic between you and seeing your projects, watching from New Zealand.
Thank you so much for watching Eleanor. I'm glad you found us. You could always make your sweater a short sleeve or a three quarter length sleeve. Maybe you don't have to play you aren't chicken then. Have a great day and hope to see you back.
Gosh another very inspiring episode. Love seeing what you finished, you're working on, and the dream knits. It does always add to my wish list for both patterns and yarns. That Yarn Hero yarn is a new one to me. Hope you all have a great week..
I’m knitting the Corran now, in Plucky Knitter Harmony (cotton, alpaca, nylon). What a great pattern! I have a sweater’s quantity of Dapple and I’m kind of stumped as to what to knit. I was thinking the Daily Pullover, but that calls for fingering and this is dk. Sooo, I’m waiting for Rebecca Clow’s t-shirt pattern to come out. I’m pretty sure it calls for dk!
The Corran is such a fun pattern to make. I think I’m going to use my dapple yarn to make the summer soufflé by Laura Penrose. Rebecca’s t-shirt pattern would also be nice in the dapple. Thanks for your suggestions and happy knitting! 🧶🍷
Thank you ladies for your inspirational podcasts. I recently broke an ankle and your ideas for knits have been such an inspiration while I was immobile on the couch. I have since been knitting up a storm on my own needles while my bones are also slowly knitting together. I live in New Zealand and wondering if you have used any of our local yarns or tried our lovely wines.
I have had some of your Savignon Blancs. I can't say that I have used any New Zealand yarn. I guess I haven't really found any. If I do, I will definitely get some. Thank you for watching.
@@woolandwine I'm currently using Ahuri yarn (a NZ based yarn) which is a combination of merino and possum .. soo soo soft and with a lovely halo. Thank you again for your podcast!! Our savs are good but so are some of our pinot noirs.
With several wips you have going at the same time, how do you organize working on them so fast? Do you schedule a structured plan to work on each one a certain day of the week or go with whatever you want any day? I want to get organized too finish up a few items and appreciate any suggestions ❤️
That's a really good question. This is Claudia and I have no particular organization. I knit on things that I want to get finished, but when I get tired of knitting on that particular item, I will pick up another project. I guess in my mind I have priorities and that's what I work on the most. I love casting on and getting to about the sleeve separation, but then I get bored, so I have to move around a lot. Thank you so much for watching! Have a great weekend.
Hi ! Had to stop watching and ask a question of Janet - did you have any problems with the neckline of your arco iris ? I sped through mine without a hitch until I reached round 4 of the neckline I have a mental block it seems with the instruction to “ work in pattern to 1 stitch before central decrease “ any tips or tutorials that you know of for knitting the arco iris especially when it comes to RD 4 and the repeating of rd4 ? I’ve had to put mine in “time out “ Your Arco Iris is beautiful, btw Thanks so much for any help that you have to offer 😊
Laurie, Yes I did have issues with round 4 because the 1 stitch before was a cable so I just used the stitches from the cables. I also found that the stitches around the neckline need to be evenly spaced when picking them up. It might be a good idea to skip one set of cables around the center stitch and do the ribbing for those stitches.
Ladies, you’re gorgeous in your Daily Pullovers. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful sweaters, as always, Ladies. Loving the Dream Knitting segment, too - always full of inspiration.
Another great podcast, always a joy to watch ❤
Love your Podcast!
Wonderful episode.
As always, fabulous episode!

Wow the daily pullover is flattering on all three ladies! The name is so fitting, an easy pick to wear almost everyday.

A good fingerless mitt pattern is the Firepit Mitts by another podcaster , Taylor Earl from Wool Needles Hands.

Approximately 3 skeins or a little less for the medium size.
