Something came and now it's leaving, just like the car, his demons are passing him by. He's still in control, at least for now.
From the first trailer where we also see a note to say the experiment should not be restarted it also says "They are the ultimate weapon for destroying one another". Which may not necessarily make them enemies but Caleb and the MC are each other's nemeses. Maybe he's afraid of what Ever can make him do so he feels he has to show them that the MC is not a threat somehow. Just a thought 🤔
I've just started playing LaDS and I am definitely overwhelmed (but in a good way). I was immediately drawn to Caleb's character and heartbroken when I thought he had died. You did such a great job with this video ❤

I recently came across an old post of mine where I ranted about his death back in March last year and how I'm sad he's not gonna be back as an LI hahaha. And the game can be quite overwhelming at first, this is my first gacha and I was genuinely scared when I first started haha, pleasantly so though (I mean these three amazing men were absolutely in love with me, who wouldn't be haha.) I felt like that lady being served too many pancakes meme haha but it gets better and the game is so good, the story and characters really grow on you, even those you don't like romantically.
I have a slight theory that zayne caleb AND mc were all experimented on. Since grandma worked for ever. We already know MC was experimented on as a child with her heart which lead to memeory issues. But since all 3 were raised grew up together and zayne knows about the ever group experiments maybe he was experimented on too but doesnt talk about it. Which can explain why zayne has issues controlling his evol. (and yeah the myths but this can explain it for modern day) and also why he works so much eith Dr. Noah. Maybe caleb experiments involved his arm hince the metal arm. Unless i missed something in the story line and im 100% wrong
@@krishaunafisher this is definitely interesting. Also how zayne's evol, when it's out control, tends to freeze his arm and shoulder all the way to his heart so that's interesting too. I wonder if zayne didn't "escape" earlier, he would end up like Caleb too?
I like ur theory 😌 I also think he is morally grey character like other LIs but he is directly (by no choice) has to work with enemy group to keep MC safe in his own ways. Poor Caleb... The Angst going to be soooo delicious i can feel it already

I saw a post that from the trailer, we can see traces of a slap mark left by mc. It seems that MC had her own struggles too, being left in the dark from the truth, wondering and mourning for both Caleb and Granny.

I'd be mad too if my closest friend lied to me about being dead and then behaved as he is. I'm sure they'll calm down after but damn, I'm certain it'll be a very heavy chapter.
Agree so much with the emotional armour he has. He's so messed up inside now, I can't imagine how he stay as sane as he did so far. He's so tragic ughh
@bigppisha i truly like Caleb's possessiveness 🤭🤭 and yeah its to be expected that he's a bit twisted after so many neural experiments done to him. But he can't be a total villain, cause in the end he's a LI. I wonder though, if that robotic arm is a result of the explosion or if its just an Upgrade that he wanted done in order to be more efficient and its covered by some fake skin 😲😲

He's probably gonna be the most jealous out of all of them, I'm sure he also feels an even deeper sense of possessiveness over the MC because he's known her since they were kids and well everything else I stated in the video. And yeah, he can't be a 100% evil because of the nature of the game itself, you are meant to fight alongside all of them, so events with all of them, and they want you to like all of them so there may never be a romance where the villain arc is distastefully done. About the robotic arm, I'm honestly unsure. I think he has lost his arm, probably from the explosion and gotten a prosthetic but it's now covered with like a flesh-like material.
I just finished caleb’s storyline chapters, and its INSANE how accurate you are. This has to be my favourite storyline by far, it’s so interesting and mysterious.

I've always been a sylus main since beta test, but caleb has always been I thought to be the most complex character to understand. Which made me really curious and wanted to dig deep of the dept of his story. I know that the devs have made many adjustments since it's test to launch, but well see. I guess?

Love the theory! I thought as well the fixed arrangement of LI they use in the game brings us closer to the truth. 1. Xav the first partner who pass the knowledge about almost everything to MC 2. Zay the doctor who is close to josephine and surprisingly hold the experiment secret 3. Then there is Raf who has a connection to bring MC in to the n109zone 4. Syl gets along with josephine’s partner/scientist who might know further (it is said that one scientist who knows abt this experiment is currently protected in sylus area) 5. Then here is Cal, working for ever (the theory is still being tested) 6. i would guess the next LI is from Ever itself (maybe Carter from xander who knows Zay?HAHA no offense just guessing) Let’s get drown in the story together!!!😙

@@andymkp I think it's a lot more complex than it appears. Both the MC and Caleb have a lot of deep trauma that they've to resolve. I doubt it'll be as toxic as everyone expect or hopes(?) idk, as I said, the game handles romances with maturity and I trust the devs enough to know that they'll do Caleb justice, not just as a love interest but as a character.
The experiment page says “THEY ARE THE OPTIMAL WEAPON FOR DESTROYING EACH OTHER” I’m interested in why Sylus was framed for blowing up MC’s childhood home Am I the only one that isn’t excited for Caleb as a love interest?? Maybe it’s because I have an ex named Caleb that was an abusive asshole and this Character gives asshole vibes.
