Here’s a trick some may or may not know when bucking big wood with long bars. Once you get to the bottom third, keep the saw at your thigh, and the tip inside the log and kinda tickle the edge of the bark on the inside all the way to the bottom and then out. You can tell you are through the wood and just kissing the inner bark by watching the chips. The bark is darker and no reason to cut all the way through the bark because that’s where the grit and rocks are. Can’t see the backside or the ground anyway so might as well watch the color change of the chips instead of the curf because there isn’t anything really to see their anyway and you’ll feel a curf closing before you see it anyway. Takes some practice to get good at it and is easier the thicker the bark but once you get the hang of it the chains last WAY longer so it’s worth practicing even when your out having fun. Plus with the saw at your thigh you still are standing upright. Wouldn’t try the last part without chaps but then again, I always have chaps on when using anything other than a top handle saw for pruning. You’d be amazed how many pros have nicks either in their chaps or in their legs (all of them that have enough experience to make a living with a saw) and once you see a knee cut to the bone you’ll wear them as well. Granted fatigue causes most accidents but without pushing a little even when out having fun, a guy never really gets better or stronger so I personally recommend them for everyone. Obviously it’s a personal choice and I’m fine with a guy doing whatever he’s good with and why I used the term recommend. 👍🏼👍🏼

@johnlincicum6390 I think it's 93, but not sure. It's standard Husqvarna large mount stuff.

Damn impressive I'd have thought the 28in. bar would have stiffled it alot more than it did.

It’s got good torque for a smaller saw. That’s a big piece of wood and your right when you say the centre of the wood will probably dull the chain like hitting dirt.

Should oil fine I'd think, my poulan pro 42cc keeps a 28 oiled well and my cs 590 slings oil off the end of a 36 lol
