It's getting harder to find people who worked on this when it was originally composited. Not that I'm looking for them, but most of the miniatures in the Original Trilogy were literally put together from scale model parts that were commonly available at that time. They weren't digitally rendered or anything fancy, like today's ships. They literally put all of this model background together by hand. Props to them for doing such a fantastic job long before computer rendering and editing was powerful enough to do the job. 😊👍

When ramming they would explode, which would almost assuredly destroy anything the empire has. A new one could then be attached back at Base. I think it comes down to 'context': if you insert Star Wars Rebels into the original series, you get the 'ragtag' vibe as Rebels is set as a prequel the story as laid out by A New Hope. As the original trilogy progresses, and with successive episode, the Rebel Alliance gathers steam, and an increasing level of uniformity (reflecting the growth of the Rebellion's popularity / strength).
For reasons we're all now well aware of, KK / Disney shoved all that carefully crafted cannon ( _including_ SWR) in to a dusty corner, and only trotted it out when it suited them. I salute Henry's efforts to flesh out the *whole* Star Wars universe with designs that predate & augment the original tribology.

An idea I would have for another redesign would be the imperial Razor-class frigate which looks like a cut out ISD command section. It is canon and only appeared in a small comic book which was published only in Germany and Austria. The author said that he isnt happy with the design and said that he would have designed the ship today sleeker with more visible weaponry on it.

Great job, Henry! Love the new ship. I think this ship as a mobile, small-scale fighter production and maintenance yard is a great idea. I can totally see Rebel fighters being fabricated on something like this. And of course, the other jobs are very nice as well. So this is definitely different from i was picturing. A long, axi-symmetrical ship, with some gun pods on the prow and the bridge somewhere in that dome, in the middle. Like a repurposed yacht. There would be an access tunnel to the gun pods, where ammo and torpedoes would also be stored, where it’s extended to better dissipate heat (a common theme in SW, thinking of the B-wing primarily). However, it could be fully automated with droids so that the vulnerable portion stuck out wouldn’t endanger lives, unlike the Nebulon-B. Breaking that middle shaft wouldn’t render the ship inoperable, just without much of its firepower. Maybe not a corvette by definition, but about the size, with surprising armament. But I like your creative approach. I’m getting serious XB-70 Valkyrie vibes from the 6 large engines at the back. Looks super cool, and the detail is incredible, like always!

Imagine a group of pirates operating one of these with the aftermarket turbolaser you modelled!
