Maybe it’s me but I’m struggling with the cutaways. Been training for 15+ with both competition and hardstyle. Not sure why I can’t land the right position with these. Any advice? Thanks!
Interesting. Is there a movement in particular you find challenging like snatch or cleans? Without seeing video I can make an educated guess that perhaps you're not actively inserting enough, but it could be something else.
Have you checked out the dumbbell grip vs kettlebell grip blog on our website? That can be helpful, as well as our catch it like a pro video. Those are good places to start but certainly don’t cover everything - as twin cities said, feel free to send us a video. But top tips are let go of the handle and insert sooner than you think, wedge into the top corner of the handle and make sure you are keep your wrist straight as you punch through . When you’re trying to practice dialing it in, it can be more effective to start it in the rack position in the correct spot and then drop it in to the swing and back up to the rack. That can help with muscle memory.
Thanks for the great review. Can't wait for your competition in October!
Can't wait to see you there!!!
