- Tiger blade takes you to an alternate universe to hunt down a package, but is it really worth doing? I go over what the game offers in this review.
If you've enjoyed this review then make sure to stick around as I will be covering all PSVR2 titles. Therefore, you'll be seeing both new and older releases.

A patch was released yesterday (21/02/24) which fixed the recentering issue and added smooth turning. This has made the game feel a lot more natural to play.
Dudeeeee... you put this on my radar heavy. Great Review. Im worried about the playspace u mentioned but something about this is drawing me. Thanks Tea!
Seriously if they fix that playspace issue, I'll play it again. The game is very unique and they're onto something special, just a few bits that need to be ironed out.
Appreciate you always checking the videos out.
Hey! Yann from Ikimasho here. Thanks for reviewing Tiger Blade! Could you please precisely run me through the recentering issues you've had? We've never had anything similar, here or in playtests, so we'd like to try to reproduce it and fix it. Thanks!@@GWTGamesWithTea
@@IkiYann Hi Yann, thanks for commenting. So I think the best way to describe it is when I mention it during the video you can see me physically take 2 to 3 steps forward this right here shouldn't be necessary. When I recentre it should place me in a central point which for that part in the video would be behind the desk. Hope this makes sense and I hope you can find a fix.
It may also have something to do with various sized play spaces and the boundary size set?
1:36 Pro tip: if this happens in any game - take two steps BACK first, then press to centre, then just walk forward again into your normal play space, where you’ll be playing / centred… 😊👍
@@007feck this has been fixed with the latest patch. At first I tried pretty much every solution that worked on other games, and sadly it didn't remedy it here. Glad the patch fixed it. Hope you're enjoying the game.
Thanks for checking out the review.
I think I'm gonna pick this game up over the weekend. It reminds me a little bit of that old Red Steel game on the Wii.
It's a fun game that can also be quite a challenge. I remember red steel, that would be a great game in VR.
Appreciate you checking out the review and leaving a comment.
Oooh been looking forward to reviews of this game. Looks really fun. The devs said its running at 120htz native, does it feel really smooth, graphically?
Hopefully they will patch for the centering issue and height slider.
I'm sure the issues I've had can be patched, which is why I've given it two scores. It runs very smooth and I think if they patch it, I'll play through it again for sure!
Thanks for checking out the review.
My main problems are it's annoying to not switch the controls so your gun is different than the sword hand (both use same hand, which I prefer if gun could use hook hand, though you can add gun laser sights), and the color coded blue guys need to be slashed. Restart also does the whole level instead of checkpoint should you miss a medal.
Do hope they patch (I generally play close so I didn't notice the centering issue) as it is fun and good exercise.
@@MrVariant would be nice to do that, so you could have the pistol in one hand and sword in another, this would also allow them to have more variety of enemies on the screen at once.
@GWTGamesWithTea first boss was a damage sponge too lol must've shot him over 20 times until my arm got numb lol and still lost. Gotta block with your sword and have that shield too but I was worn down each time lol. A health bar/hit count would be nice as the stronger enemies have 3 or 5. Thanks for the replies btw.
@@MrVariant yeah I did find after an hour of playing my arm or hand would hurt from either excessive shooting or slashing. That alone might be a good reason to have an option for a gun in the other hand.
You're welcome always happy to respond to comments.
Certainly has some cool elements. Hopefully their follow up title has more refinements.
Hoping they can find a fix to the issues I had as I would like to play through again.
Appreciate you checking out the review as always.
Thank you for your review!
