@@jerrywayneray Jerry, thanks so much for being here. Your comment means a ton. We’re really winging it over here, but I hope to get better and better with the whole process! I’ve never edited a video in my life before 6 months ago 🤣. The VS17-c is a bad machine!!!! I went back and forth between it and my 28c when it was time to buy. Wolferidge has really dialed in the quality and craftsmanship of their product line. I upload every Sunday at 630am, I hope to see you back! By the way, we lived in the Raleigh area for about a decade (apartment in Cary, then bought a house in holly springs) before moving back to the triad.
Bud if it’s fun it’s not ridiculous. I have that Ultra sitting here and am barely using it because I don’t want to handle the wood 65x haha. I about to saw “screw it” and make a pile !! Thanks for not making me feel alone brother.
New sub here , came over from Jacob @twin city firewood . I grew up in Brunswick county NC . I now live in the upstate of SC . Nice splitting with the wolf ridge .
@ thanks for checking out the channel . I worked in Greenville for over 23 yrs till I retired . I have an Inman address but I live in Boiling Springs . Anytime you are down this way you are more than welcome to stop by .
@@WilleysFirewood look, I probably won’t ever hold many UA-cam accolades, but im on the podium alone when it comes to wood touches. I can’t even see runner up with binoculars. 🤣
@@DanielAtkinsFirewood I’d love to make my way out there one day to split some wood. I can honestly say I’ve never split a piece of Doug fir in my life, but I know that tree has kept many a houses warm during the winter!
No shame in touching wood multiple times if it’s fun!! 😉😂. Just kidding. You’re just doing what you can with what ya have man. Respect in that buddy. Totally agree about hickory. Pecan is worse in my opinion. Keep it up, you’ll get that equipment you want/need to make it more fun!
@@TwinCityFirewood haha you got that right hickory and pecan are both a beast! I’m always on the hunt for a good deal on a tractor. I plan to add one sooner or later. Thanks for watching!
I have a love/hate relationship with hickory! Gotta love that smell!!👍👊
Hickory and cherry are my two favorites to smell!
You touch more wood than anyone! lol Good video young man
🤣🤣 Pitty!! How you been brother?!
Can't wait to see the new tractor 🚜
@@WilleysFirewood she gonna be about 30-40 years old but she’ll be new to me 😎
@ sounds absolutely perfect to me. The older ones were built to last.
It’s All good! your all set up for when the tractor gets delivered
@@lillysfarmandfirewood that’s how I see it! Thankfully it’s only my cooking wood that is this much of a pain as i stack and pile my hardwoods!
I'm running low on Cherry. I'll have to get by again soon and get another bag or two.
Just holler, I got you 🤝

Hickory and gum both hard to split for sure .
I split about 3 cord yesterday . My buck up some more today but it’s a lazy Sunday .

NO Hickory here on the West Coast. The stump end of Douglas Fir gets real stringy and twisted that it can also give hydraulics a run..😉👍
