Actually calming to watch, like a Bob Ross video. 'Now lets put a happy little Battlemech right here."
Thanks for doing tutorials like this. It helps those of us who are less skilled in the hobby aspect to skill up.
The bases looks so realistic! Thanks for sharing this.
Thank u!
Wow, these are gorgeous.
That's pure awesomeness!
Awesome job! I really like those bases.
I was wondering if you could maybe do a video on how you make the bases fit the miniature and how you do the pins into the base and such.
Thanks for the feedback. Great idea, I'll add that to the idea list for video content.
This is great! I am building up a smoke Jag “ fall of huntress” force which will be in a lot of jungles
Excellent idea, glad you found it helpful.
Beautiful work sir, but if I could make one I use it to pose instead of regular game play.
I so love theese vidz. Informative, inspiering and just great all around.. :)
Thanks so much!
How do you recommend I make the actual terrain portion? The painting and grass I understand, i don't know much about the filler putty/epoxy/etc.
You can buy basing materials like pumice texture paste and such, or make your own using drywall spackle and additives as seen on the channel here. You can use epoxy putty like miliput or greenstuff, you can use sand or baking soda and superglue if you want although it's not very efficient.
the scale of the plantlife is far too large.
I addressed that very topic in the video as I was making the reeds and I disagree that my imaginary planet's alien vegetation can't grow to twice the height of a man. ;)
