The crowd is not being picked up by microphones, that is why it seems they are less than enthused
if you noticed, the mics didn't pick up the trash cans so it stands to reason that the crowd would not be audible either. the stage mics are pointing awsy from the audience as well. To contradict myself though, the leader had to solicit the crowds involvement twice. Great performers, not so great crowd.

actually, they were clapping and cheering the entire time. Trouble is, the audio was bad. You couldn't even hear the trashcan bit in the crowd all that well.

As an OLD drummer I love this guy!! Really great show!!
Sometime the mics are set up to get better sound from the band, but to do that you cut out most of the sound from the crowd. They probably are cheering, we just can't hear them very well.

You all give us this show that I can't stop watching.. This is what every form of entertainment could bring but I can't help but to truly think YOU GUYS GIVE EVERYONE AN "EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME"... I am an 80's rocker, a metal guitar player and a drummer (a real one - experienced and trained - not like every singer and GP who is also a "drummer" :-))....my darn point is I watch this every now and then because they SO harken to a vaudville era with INCREDIBLE musicianship and I LOVE IT!!!!
