- Microsoft adds a new licensing for Teams called Teams Premium which costs $7 per users per month before July 2023 and $10 after. Here I go through all the new features that Teams premium offers.
Additional features are: Auto translations (but there must be one core meeting language), webinar enhancements (approving registraions, pre-start green room, and managing what attendees can see), personalised branding (changing the default blue and adding a custom image/logo to the lobby), security enhancements (end to end encryption, watermarks, sensitivity labels), customisation (new meeting options and the ability to prepackage a certain configuration of meeting options), AI enhahcements coming soon and queuing in virtual appointments.

Awesome Video, been trying to make sense of the point in Teams Premium for a while.
Yeah! It’s a bit of a mystery right, they’re very quiet on talking about it until the AI stuff comes out it seems
Hello, I do apologize, I do not understand. If hosting a global meeting, employees from Mexico/Japan. With Premium, and I speak English, would the user(s) then be able to select their language to translate? Therefore, I speak English, the person in Mexico will receive a translation of what I say to Spanish, and the employee in Japan will receive a translation view in Japanese? How does that work? Would I set it on my side, then they would set their side?
Hi each person can set their own language for translations if one person has teams premium, but the meeting language must be the same (for now), so if they reply in Japanese, then you can’t translate back into English, there’s no “detect language” feature in the tech for now (but probably will be soon)
