The wings provide a response rather than a forced response, so you can choose whether to use it or not. I also think it probably won't prevent all of the damage, given we can't see that corner of the card, I think it will probably be 2 damage reduction.
My only complaint, which to be fair is more thematic, why did the do Nadia instead of Janet? At least with Scott he was technically Ant-Man the longest. It is a bit odd thematically
Nadia's alter ego ability also makes your mulligan at the top of the game much much better. Pinpoint Strike is bonkers. That plus Surprise Attack are some real power creep.
It’s quite possible and probably likely that Biosynthetic wings says “prevent # of that damage” rather than it blocking all the damage. I could see it blocking 2 or 3 damage for example.
Atlas Films I agree, I don’t think it will prevent all the damage. And, Wossy, it’s an interrupt, not a FORCED interrupt, so, you can choose when to use it, if you even want to.
grog3514 yeah. They say that you don’t need to buy them but they have newer cards. But I will still buy them. I feel like what they are doing with the heroes is really fresh and interesting. For characters to have 2 hero sides is awesome. Then for the next two characters to be synergistic is awesome. Quicksilver is kind of like Spiderwoman except it’ll take a lucky hand to really boost his stats and Scarlett Witch is the first hero to let you manipulate the encounter deck. That’s really cool. So I mean while I get that there is a lot of content they are still making it fresh. And they’ve basically teased the other guardians of the galaxy after Rocket and Groot.

Is it possible to flip from either hero stance back to alter ego?
If “surprise attack” costs 1, then that resource would be the only one you need, no?
