Why is she so HOT. Jay had no business making Circe’s lyrics SOOO HOT. IM FOLDING. Talya COOKED with her singing. Circe Saga is probably by far one of my most favorite sagas so far. RAGHHHH.
As someone else said, it is interesting that they removed the part where Odysseus actually lives there for a year Basically the first time they deviate from the original
I think they deviate a lot before as well. I mean, i think Odysseus never meets Poseidon. And he also has to save his Men from the Lotus Island after they at the fruit and stay there for a while
Well, the entire thing was "lay with me or I'll kill your men." It made no sense to me why odey would stay and get romantically involved with... who basically is a murderous ra*ist. Some stuff has to change for modern audiences.
True, alot can control a man and destroy his morals when a man has been under nothing but extreme stress and mind breaking events, even not seeing a women you love for years and honestly I relate, when he says "I'm just a man I'm sorry" there's alot of power to that and alot of men could relate that yes we are just men and men are easily controlled under extreme stress and considering he's had 12 years of almost no hope of seeing his wife and making sure his men don't die and surviving i wouldn't blame him for folding but he's insanely strong for keeping hope.
@@keeperscove8056 exactly he should be proud of himself because some men (not saying all) would have stayed strong and gave in, like alexander hamilton
Once i heard this saga for the first time, i was like "wow. this is...something alright." But now that i've heard it so many times, i can't get over it. i love it so fricking much.
Penelope's melody right after "I can't!" 👌👌👌

Actually, Epic deviates from the original all the time
@@dyegoeduardosantossilva3659 and odysseus doesn't have any problem in killing the baby in the original
In the version I read, he did sleep with Circe. He told himself he was doing it for Penelope, but he didn't enjoy it at all.
the fact ody was about to fold and give into her but rejects her shows how much he loves penolope and can't cheat or ruin their marriage
