Of course, different revision tips work for different people, therefore it’s important you experiment with a range of ideas before finding out what tips suit you best. I wrote up all the psychology essays for all the possible 24 markers that could come up and then spent hours and hours memorising them word for word and got an A* and I put all the essays into a PowerPoint and colour coded each paragraph
Could you upload these somewhere and share them?
in the old spec basically everything in the spec that came under the list of topics was a potential 24 marker, so for instance for aggression there was a list of about 6 topics and then each topic could be asked as a 24 marker
by looking at the specification and using the textbook
im on summer break after gcses and im hopefully doing psych alevel but like wow thats amazing i would wanna do that myself but like,, im lazy-hoping to start on the course now or somethn idk

I’ve been watching you for like 3 years and now I’m finally doing my A Levels
So far I'm doing well in Psychology. It has a lot to do with memorizing the studies, so a small tip from me is to nickname these studies. For example, In memory there's numerous Baddeley studies. Each different, and each testing out different theories. One is about deep see divers, and how cues can be context dependant. Memorize the study as "deep see diver study" or more childish "the fish study"

This is what I did babe! but then do lots of past papers and exam practice so you can mould your essay paragraphs to fit the short markers and application questions

I'm finishing my A1 this year and plan to revise over the summer. The essay plans are working for me in company of my own "Holy Bible":))
Also, I haven't thought before of remembering topics by the researchers. For me all these names are a disaster 😅 , and I used to ignore them. But putting them in the main focus seems to be a good idea! What I also find helpful is to google these names and sort of pretend "yeaaaah, thass my guy!", watch videos or see pictures( if available. )

So if you had gotten D's and E's first year how were your predicted grades marked? DO you guys only get predicted after the first year mocks because I'm struggling here to turn it around before they're sent.

I'm a Science and Maths A-Level student and I don't understand a single thing but I love your personality and videos #badbitchsquad
I did AQA paper A but it was the new spec. I got an A in AS and people asked me what I did but NOONE WANTED TO LISTEN bc it was "too much effort". If you want an A you do the MOST. I made nice looking (v important) concise notes after I finished the topic in class, i.e. Brief AO1 description, research studies, evaluation of 1 essay on 1 page. Near exams make essay plans for every topic (both research and research STUDIES questions). Then just print out loads of past papers, make it into a booklet and do them all and mark them, do the essays fully but don't spend too long on them. Then last minute revision: write every possible essay question and bullet point an essay plan without any notes, then add to it in a different colour, and you're sorted!
