Moral of the Story: India's Independence was a result of culmination of factors and events leading up to 1947. With all due respect to all the freedom fighters and their contributions, the geopolitics of the world back then with the end of 2nd World War and its after effects and situation in Britain with their internal change of power played a very important role in India gaining the complete independence it got in 1947. If not for these external factors, the fight would have been much longer as it was for some other countries.
That is absolutely true brother, but still we cannot discredit the fact that pressure was being built against the British for more than 75 years, had the freedom fighters not been as active and sacrificing (without knowing whether they would be successful in their lifetime) we would not have attained independence irrespective of the geopolitical situation at the time. A similar example is the French Revolution, did not end up bringing the concept of the Republic right away but started a process of constant political pressure, which enables society to jump on any opportunity to evolve the process of freedom.
Every successful revolution had an external geo-political factor and India's wasn’t any exception. But we cannot ignore the supreme sacrifices made by our revered freedom fighters of all ideologies. Everyone has contributed to our Independence.
True but even the british raj and east india company dominance was possible bcz of they took advantage of situations. They played their cards right at the right time, so ya later it was india's turn. I mean i am wayyy more impressed and will give most if not all credit to our freedom fighters to go against the government and so many of em died while doing it. They kept it going for so long, commendable! Just think about it this way, in the current scenario even if we know the government is corrupt and is draining the common people of its value...how many of us are actually fearless and revolting against em? Most of us are scared for our lives, our family even with all the technology and modern mechanism we still not united. To do it back then, it would have been so tough.

Moral of the Story: India's Independence was a result of culmination of factors and events leading up to 1947. With all due respect to all the freedom fighters and their contributions, the geopolitics of the world back then with the end of 2nd World War and its after effects and situation in Britain with their internal change of power played a very important role in India gaining the complete independence it got in 1947. If not for these external factors, the fight would have been much longer as it was for some other countries.
Thats why look the partition video bro. Naval Mutiny is the one that gave freedom quickly. Dont settle for a single video as a complete proof.
That is absolutely true brother, but still we cannot discredit the fact that pressure was being built against the British for more than 75 years, had the freedom fighters not been as active and sacrificing (without knowing whether they would be successful in their lifetime) we would not have attained independence irrespective of the geopolitical situation at the time. A similar example is the French Revolution, did not end up bringing the concept of the Republic right away but started a process of constant political pressure, which enables society to jump on any opportunity to evolve the process of freedom.
Every successful revolution had an external geo-political factor and India's wasn’t any exception. But we cannot ignore the supreme sacrifices made by our revered freedom fighters of all ideologies. Everyone has contributed to our Independence.

True but even the british raj and east india company dominance was possible bcz of they took advantage of situations. They played their cards right at the right time, so ya later it was india's turn. I mean i am wayyy more impressed and will give most if not all credit to our freedom fighters to go against the government and so many of em died while doing it. All this books but some I have not read it fully, but know the essence.
