    But don’t you just know one of those housing studs is going shear off! 🤞hoping they undo.

    I think someone has put some rad weld, or anti leak fluid in the system to try and stop a leak in the past
    Also your oil cooler is why fitting the bottom bolt is a pain. I don’t think these were standard so someone must of added that in its life

      @Fourwheeledfarming yes agree the residue is clearly something of that nature if anyone wondered what aged rad weld looks like!
      The RSP mini was a limited edition to test the market for a re-introduction of the Mini Cooper in 1990 after stopping production in the 70s, so these minis came with the oil cooler as standard as per original minis, when they started production the new mini came as single point injection minus the oil cooler.
