I like the video and it's informative as well. It can be used as source in teaching students as well. I a a PE teacher and good to know that you have shared this for us.more to come! sending wave from Philippines :)
Great stuff. I always struggle with those smash defences to your shoulder area, so the drive return is really helpful. I will definitely try it next time. Keep up the good work guys
Great tutorial Thomas, this is a very important skill to learn as it's really tricky when a smash is coming towards the body. Really appreciate your content peace
Yet again simple. Effective. Informative. I have been playing for about 10 years now still i can say your videos teach a lot of small but important stuff. Appreciate the efforts you put in to make those videos. Love and respect from india. 📝🏸🏸🇮🇳🇮🇳
Thanks for putting efforts in sharing your know-how which is very helpful. A request for a video on a proper nutrition guide. (before + between and after the session) I think your experience as a professional would very much help.
I like to use the Lin Dan 'backhand slice/swipe' method of high smash net return in this instance. It's a little risky in doubles as there's not much room for error but if you play it right it can be effective.
Would it be possible for you to do a video on how to stay loose and relaxed in the arm/wrist/fingers when under pressure? It's all too easy to get tight and rigid in match conditions (especially with doubles defence) and I'm sure others have this problem as well.
@@BadmintonFamly Thank you very much I got it . Dear Trainer may I request you to make a video about double rotation? we can find many videos in youtube but there not so clear and useful
I was playing with state player in Malaysia yesterday, they smashed at a rate of 200kph to my body not once by twice. How do i increase my reflexes.Any way your channel have helped me a lot on my development as a self taught player. Keep it up
Do reflex training with and without rackets. We are working on videos like that for a future release, but try different exercises where your reflexes are pressured a lot.😊
Thank you very much for uploading this video. I was requested many time (may be you know). Okay! But I have one little question that if fast smash comes on front of my face how I put my body angel and defend that shot. Plz answer 👆👆👆 & Otherwise nice and informative video. Keep it up 😍
It will give you more power but not to hard then it wont😉 It gives you more control but more tricky because you then need to hit the center position of the racket at all times. Do what feels the best for you💪🏻
when a smash comes to my body, i usually am unable to defend it, rather it (shuttle) hit my body especially my chest! what is my problem? could you tell me plz?
You can watch the basic technique video for more tips👍🏻 But hold a bevel grip close to a thumb grip. When pushing with the fingers you can rotate the grip a bit in your hand ending up with a thumb grip💪🏻
You can watch the basic technique video we made for all the "normal" movements, but start with bevel grip close to thumb grip. When pushing with finger power you can rotate a bit in the grip ending up with a thumb grip. More important when playing the flat return 😉 Thomas
I just wanna say thank you for the effort you make these videos.
Oh you guys are brilliant!!! These positions are the most difficult ones to do, and you worked out how to do them and do them well. Thanks a million.

Dear Trainer can you explain there is two small lines in the two side of long service line for double. what is for that
That is some speciel lines for some small mini games for younger players😉💪🏻

Excellent video as always. Rasmus can I ask what you’re wearing on your legs? Is it called under armour? Looks comfy!
+zahid very strange fashion in the west, it is called leggings, what women normally wear. But with shorts. Some people wear them without shorts.
I like it
How to take right side of shots in defense...if any reference...

Looking for a best Yonex badminton racket under 3000 for smashing. Please suggest some good racket
Ok sirs
If someone tries a smash like that on Kevin Sanjaya, he will end up with a return back to his face. 😂
Hi
My smash are not powerfull. Is it something with my racket ?? I have voltric 0.7 dg series ?
Its a very good racquet!!
Make a video on where to smash in doubles

Arcsaber 7👍🏻
Every time I watch your video, I get the strong urge play.
Haha nice💪🏻💯
Sir if the opponent throws this type of shot in single what should we do
Same or block it short to the net with the rackethead pointing more up than flat😉
@@BadmintonFamly thank you so much for the reply
how to defend if smash is at forehead side above chest height
We have a tutorial on that on our channel, search for it💪🏻
when a smash comes to my body, i usually am unable to defend it, rather it (shuttle) hit my body especially my chest! what is my problem? could you tell me plz?
Maybe your arm/racket is to far down towards the floor so your reaction time is to show 🤔
Upload ur single or double match..
Position of grip
You can watch the basic technique video for more tips👍🏻 But hold a bevel grip close to a thumb grip. When pushing with the fingers you can rotate the grip a bit in your hand ending up with a thumb grip💪🏻
