Took my shahada in California on Friday May 21, 2021. 21st day of the month - 21st week of the 21st year in the 21st century. Felt the mercy of Allah upon me, my heart feels full. I’m grateful to have found your channel.
Three sisters who are articulately helping the ‘modern’ ummah. It’s been 18 months of my inner child healing journey, I appreciate the knowledge and wisdom you all share.

i rarely comments but ive been dealing with an addiction ive never told anyone about and.. the lows.. seem too low to bounce back from sometimes. This has really helped me. And i love you

I can't forget how someone kept talking bad about me, because I had a financial trial and would tell people not to help me,. I cried so much from the pain because I have been trying to rely alone on ALlah to the point that my mother cries from sleep from the shame I got from this sister spreading bad about me. I try not to make dua against her because I know its Allah not her. But it amazes me how 1 person can be so mean to bring me down because of a mistake. Allahul musta'an. I can relate to this

Actually some people will come on the day of Judgement laughing, when they will be asked why are you laughing, they would say we have sinned but we have repented, to the point that, as I heard once: when the believer would see his minor sins (sayyiāt) being replaced with hasanāt on that day, they would say: Where are the big ones hhh
Yet we should always humble ourselves before Allah and know that He is worthy of being obeyed and we should honor our bond with Him Al Quddoos by not disobeying Him Subhanahu wa Taăla 🖤
It's kinda true ,some pple dont feel others ,they just like to pass judgement any how they feel. Until they are tested then they realise it wasn't just bout them cz they used to feel so 'holier'.

It's usually blind followers who don't realize those who know are not like those who know not when Lawless you on own like fasting you after puberty own angles

The way I see it, I don’t really care for that person’s personal sins, whether they cheat, use drugs, whatever, it’s more about their platform and if they are abusing others (domestic violence, or abuse of other women/children, abuse of vulnerable people). I think sometimes faith leaders gravitate to that role for a Cloak of immunity - people just won’t believe they sin and would doubt the victims words. I also think they are attracted to that role because it brings people to them, and they can prey on people easily. So if I were to see that, I would 💯 want accountability and for us as a community to stand up and say NO to that behaviour. It’s more about the stance the community is taking about abuse. I’m not here to gossip about what so and so did, because frankly, as an adult, I’ve seen way to many people sin to be shocked or surprised. It’s old news. I am here to make sure people are held accountable when they abuse others so we don’t contribute to a culture of abuse, victim blaming, and the normalization of this behaviour. At the same time, I am open to people making a “come back” but I want to see this being done in a proper manner, and I think this the most important discussion we should be having. What sorts of things do we want to see from someone who sinned in abusive ways, what do we want them to do and say so that we can trust them again. At the end of the day, if they’re a faith leader, I expect them to practice what they preach, or at least, I expect them to not harm others. Sure they might have specialized knowledge that is hard to replace, but if their actions speak a different story, it fuels a lot of doubts and makes people much more distrustful - and it does more harm to the community than good.
This is more about slandering and gossip. I thought you would speak about how to get back on track from the lows.

Whenever I come across a topic like this, balancing back (repentance) I remember what Abu Nwas has said when he repented to Allah :
رَبِّ إِن عَظُمَت ذُنوبي كَثرَةً
فَلَقَد عَلِمتُ بِأَنَّ عَفوَكَ أَعظَمُ
إِن كانَ لا يَرجوكَ إِلّا مُحسِنٌ
فَبِمَن يَلوذُ وَيَستَجيرُ المُجرِمُ

I hope you can Inn-sha-Allah discuss a topic about the differences between having healthy self-esteem and narcissism or arrogance? Do you think there are many narcissists among some Muslim communities, specially those who are obsessed with taking selfies and personal vlogs?
The set, lighting etc. was alot more aesthetically pleasing and intimate which fit the tone/ mood better in the first series. In this one it's distracting, too busy and cold.
Mash Allah. Good video, do need motivation much needed for sure after coming back from the lows dumps /rock bottom. As recently dumped a emotionally unstable '50 year old man' an indian /gujrati (and they tend to be the worse yeah!) as he was placing me in a 'garden shed' after marriage! So I broke off the marriage for good - and good riddance to rubbish. Allah willing this time I'll marry the right man me for sure, INSHALLAH :)

Mistake or bullied to have to lie and say something said meant yet bullied to publicly say I'm sorry when you in heart and know the Creator know what I that person is doing not regret at all injjoy yet bullied not looking for forgiveness yet have to pretend what about that grew being bullied
We who have the Quran seem to have more to be concern with and the later who know and except that none but the CreTor is the forgiven and none will be of Beefit and when we work on self you can be with Pharaoh that don't show up until after marrige that when what is the purpose of like begin its emotion yes yet the fact each time a not good feeling you turn more to after death loss of wealth health Children grow up that space of Prayer even lying down inside greatest Jihad and from Our Creator we come and to him we will return trying sleep on right side regardless of battle if ever flown in a Plane remember that In the Sky so high only the Merciful allow that how could let whisper put us in such fear on the ground or desire to get to where we wanted to go

It was very practical for me because I use to listen to the videos again and again for days without having to have internet, I live in africa I don't have illimited internet so I can't rewatch your videos again now it's expensive for me I don't earn money. Salaam alaykum sis, I got married recently allhamdullilah and I changed my surname to that of my husband. I feel really bad about it, because I feel like I acted rashly without putting much thought into it. Now I feel like my husband doesn't deserve me bearing his name and I feel ungrateful to my parents for abandoning their name just because I got married. The funny thing is my husband doesn't share my view. Sisters help me I'm in a quagmire
