I just moved into a new apartment by myself to pursue and amazing career opportunity. As a young woman, I have felt scared and alone a few times this week. I have literally been running your videos on a playlist to keep me company. I feel like I have three brilliant, kind roommates here with me, comforting me. I am not alone because of you. Thank you.
How do you deal with it? As someone who has never been alone or even travelled by myself, I would be dead scared and anxious about everything!
@@alphafish4756 Allah is with you, why would you be scared, i've been living by myself for 5 years now and very far away from my family to study, and Alhamdulilah i've met amazing new people, i've learned a lot of things, and i've become closer to Allah.

I just discovered this channel and I love it. As a young muslim woman, I often watch talk shows hosted by women but I am always sad to see that there's no muslim women to express their point of view. I'm a student, I just wanna be great at passing my exams and male something out of myself and achieve my goals and dreams but I just feel like I have some restrictions that either I'm not up for it or what I want doesn't exist. I'm just a littlw doubtful, I want to stay sane.

I think sometimes people act on it or move forward or believe in Allah AND themselves because of low self esteem, trauma, mental health issues etc. I had to leave school three times and could not finish my degree because of my anxiety and depression and low self esteem but I am going to therapy now. Insha’Allah this will help me learn how to remove or deal with those barriers.
May Allah make you so much more stronger physically and mentally and make this a means to get closer to our Lord Allah sis. May Allah bless you. Amin!

every grave has unforfilled ideas, and the ones that they want the most are din based ones! some ppl put off short term goals that can equate to teh value of a long term goal for a long term goal itself. analyze but no analysis paralysis!

yes us having unique individual gifts are important to help each other be a team!
there can be planners and jumpers, and follow through ideas! many failed ideas! alot of character growth!

I would love to see an episode about beauty, about living in a world that has very particular beauty standards and the challenges that Muslim women face living in such an environment, how it affects their self esteem and how it feels like another burden to live up to.

Allah has given us a gift, some of us know ours and some like me don’t. I feel like an ordinary person just living life, I don’t have any talents or gifts .. how can I truly know what I am good at?
Salams, I would suggest you take some time to yourself as suggested in this episode. Take a personality type test : www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/jtypes2.asp which covers compatible jobs. Think of an activity or hobby that makes you the happiest, that you feel comfortable doing and feel passionate about. You can then write down ideas to further develop. Research feasibility, check where there's demand / gap in the market for your skill? What group of people have a real need for it?... there's your opportunity. Seek out those who are already into it that you can model either by asking them questions, get training if needed or study them via social media following. Then do istikhara too. #Dream it, Dua it, Do it! May Allah guide us all.

I must say it is truly amazing how I have been led to your videos . Taking action is so important for making changes in ones life and to get immediate to eventual results depending on the extent and levels needed for the change to be made. Starting somewhere is key and worry about the rest as it comes. I have been on a journey to realizing my dreams of being a footwear store owner in a Muslim country for many years, and it has been a long journey but I am well on my way. I always say that whatever you ask Allah for in your dua takes patience to receive it more than other dua that might be immediate. Often times things that you ask Allah for requires a series of tests, trials, gained knoweledge and wisdom, and down right soul cleansing in order for you to get what you asked for. On the way to getting this dua answered you will be tested to see if you were serious and or even sincere in what you’ve asked for. If you give up along the way because you had limited beliefs to make you think the journey was supposed to look a certain way and only be what you thought you needed or can handle then you were perhaps not ready or willing to go through the steps to get what you asked for and you claimed that you wanted. Leveling up takes sacrifice, toil and struggle. Striving for worldly goals takes struggling and no one achieves anything with mediocrity only. Rather you must ask Allah for what you want, keep asking him for help and guidance along the way, and be patient through all the tears , frustration, and doubt that will come your way but the end is and will be totally worth all the pain. Love this advice! Could you perhaps address the opposite - i.e. for those who find it easier to implement but harder to restrain from sinning/increasing in fear of Allah. (Based on yaqeen institute's spiritual personality categories).

Salam dear sisters! I really appreciate the topic. Taking actions,especially good deeds, requires personal sacrifices a muslim has to be used to doing on the daily basis. Satan being within us, discourages our good intentions and makes us pospone their achievements. But placing Allah before all our activities is one solution
